Members of the Women Initiative Group of the village Didinedze - Zugdidi municipality conduct the research "Assessment of the quality of human security ", in frames of which focus groups and interviews are conducted. The specific respondents are identified. Two focus groups and one interview was conducted. Misinformation, dissemination of fake information and false narratives as an important challenge of the modern world - training on this topic was conducted for the youth initiative group of the village Didinedzi - Zugdidi municipality. Experienced trainer Rusudan Karkadze spoke about the essence and importance of media literacy. The participants discussed the issues of misinformation and mastered the practical skills of distinguishing fake information from reality.

 Women Initiative Group actively continue the survey process, which started last month. The members of the group carry out the process by the method of focus groups and in-depth interviews. The received information will be reflected in a general research, the aim of which is to reflect human security issues from a gender perspective. The members of the youth group focused on peace initiatives. Several activities have been planned that the group leaders will conduct in different classes. According to them, these activities will contribute to the popularization of peaceful communities.

The research "Assessment of the quality of human security" carried out by the members of the Fund “Sukhumi” Women Initiative Group continues. Four focus groups and four in-depth interviews will be conducted. Kutaisi Youth Club members were trained on the topic "Peace, Youth Peaceful Initiatives". The participants received information about the importance of peace, participated in group exercises, developed peace initiatives and prepared presentations. Giorgi Khechinashvili, specialist of the USAID program management, advisor of the youth programs, representative or the department for Democracy, Human Rights and Governance, attended the training.

The members of the women and youth groups of the village Didinedzi - Zugdidi municipality hosted the project coordinator, Giorgi Khechinashvili. It was noted that, such meetings are important for both sides from the point of view of receiving information from the donors. During the nearly 3-hour meeting, the representative of the USAID program heard information from the club members about the work done within the project. He learned about the problems and needs of the citizens living near the dividing line. The leader of the club spoke about the benefits of the project, highlighted the issues that were resolved in the village and spoke about plans for future. The meeting turned out to be productive for each participant.

Tskaltubo a youth group held a discussion on the topic of peace. They talked about the role of young people in the peace process. The participants emphasized how important and necessary the participation of young people in peace activities is. The women initiative group was involved in the research process. Totally 150 beneficiaries were interviewed using the questionnaires. The research aims to assess the quality of human security in terms of gender.

The Women Fund “Sukhumi” starts the project “IDP Women and Girls – Actors of the Needs-Oriented Local Policy Development in Kutaisi” in Kutaisi Municipality.
