Representatives of various vulnerable groups actively participated in the information meetings held in Terjola and Akhalsopeli (Senaki municipality).
The participants noted that such meetings and receiving correct information are of great importance in the situation when the number of femicide facts increase. They got acquainted with the website of the Women Fund "Sokhumi" https://sosfsokhumi.ge/.
According to them, the mentioned webpage should be distributed to the general public, which will have a positive impact in terms of violence prevention.

In September, information meetings were held in a different format. Young people and teachers were actively involved in them. The meetings were held in the public schools of Zeda Vani and Tskaltubo.
The webpage https://sosfsokhumi.ge/ aroused great interest in the audience. It was noted that in an environment where femicide has increased, it is important to spread the information on this page widely. Young people, as active users of the Internet, saw their role in this. Access to information about existing municipal services in this regard, was also mentioned as relevant.

This was the feedback of the action, within the framework of which 10 women from vulnerable groups were given mobile phones equipped with the SAFE YOU application and a SOS button as a gift. The action covered 7 municipalities: Terjola, Bagdati, Tkibuli, Samtredia, Senaki, Zugdidi and Kobuleti. Local self-government representatives also participated in the action. All this helps to better understand the social situation of the beneficiaries.

The presentation of the new website of the Women Found "Sukhumi" was held in the conference hall of Terjola City Council. The meeting was attended by members of the City Council, local referral entities, community representatives.
Participants noted that the website "Digital Resource Center of Services for Violence Victims" includes all information that victims of violence need, the main thing is that many people know about it, so that the functions and contact information of the website can be used by everyone for whom it is vitally necessary.

This is a feedback of the people who participated in the meetings held in Tskaltubo and Tsalenjikha. The meeting participants got acquainted with the web page and learned how to use the information posted on it.

The meeting participants noted that the web page is indeed a digital resource center that contains all information, contact numbers necessary for violence prevention andvictim. It was also said how important meetings with the rural population are. It is necessary that many people learn about the web page, spread the information and use its capabilities.

Phones with SOS application and a magic button of our support were “lit up” in several other municipalities: Chokhatauri, Kobuleti, Vani, Bagdati, Senaki, Samtredia, Zugdidi, Terjola, Tsalenjikha, Tkibuli.

"Access to Women / Domestic Violence Victims Assistance Services at the Local Level" - a conference on this topic was held with the involvement of teachers, NGOs, and service providers.
About 80 invited participants from fifteen municipalities heard about the importance of a project funded by the Canada Gender Equality Fund that aims to empower victims of violence, raise e-literacy and impact on public awareness.
The rehabilitation center of the Women Fund "Sukhumi" deserved high evaluation from the audience, which has already hosted dozens of beneficiaries and positively changed their future.
