Meetings - in this category there is an information about meetings in frames of Fund “Sukhumi” projects - meetings with beneficiaries, representatives of state structures, local and international non-governmental organizations.
A meeting of the working group was held in Sakrebulo of Terjola municipality. The group members reviewed the final version of the action plan. Attention was paid to certain changes. They discussed social packages, participattory budget, the issue of more cooperation of local government with various social groups. The conversation touched on anti-corruption issues, the issue of retraining the employees. All of these comments were included in the final version of the action plan.

In order to promote the implementation of public administration reform in the direction of the development of electronic services, an action plan for 2020-2021 was approved at a meeting of Bagdati Sakrebulo, which was developed by a working group. Prior to approval, the members of the group reviewed the plan in various services and commissions.

Representatives of the project partner organizations and partner organizations of the target municipalities took part in the next forum of civil society organizations. The main topic of discussion was the implementation of small projects in Lanchkhuti, Khoni, Terjola, Ambrolauri municipalities. Presentations were made on the new electronic system of accountability and transparency of Sakrebulo, raising public awareness and the participatory budget. The experience of Ozurgeti local self-government in the process of implementing the public administration roadmap was especially interesting.

The meeting of the political party “Our Georgia - Solidarity Alliance” with the voters was held in Ozurgeti, where the majoritarian candidates, nominated in 2020 parliamentary elections were introduced. Representatives of the Fund "Sukhumi" informed the members of the political party and the citizens gathered at the meeting about the "online vote-o-meter" created with the support of the International Visegrad Fund.

Public discussion was held in the office of the Fund "Sukhumi". The participants got acquainted with the essence of the " Online Vote-O-Meter ". The audience was also given the opportunity to hear the answers of the responsible officials to the questions presented on the online platform, to express their opinion and to put questions.

The ordinary meeting of the working group was held in the conference hall of Terjola Sakrebulo. The members of the group discussed all the points of the action plan, made certain changes and presented the final version. The meeting was active, with the maximum involvement of the participants. The stage of meetings with political parties within the framework of the project Online Vote-O-Meter for 2020 Georgian Parliamentary Elections has completed. The staff of Tbilisi representative office of the Fund "Sukhumi" this time met with members of four parties (️ "Georgian Dream", Aleko elisashvili – the “Citizens”, ️"Our Georgia - Solidarity Alliance", "Reformer"). They were provided with information about the project, the online vote-o-meter and the importance of its implementation. The project activities will be continued according to the plan.

An information leaflet was published explaining the essence of Vote-O-Meter: The online platform is the best opportunity for both sides - voters and politicians: The introduction of an online Vote-O-Meter is to inform citizens through the "Voter Advice Application". A political party is given the opportunity to present its program to the electorate. The voter gets information about which party is closer to his vision

Cultural-Humanitarian Fund “Sukhumi” representative office in Tbilisi has started meetings with the political parties about the current innovative project - “Online Vote-O-Meter - Voter Advice Application for 2020 Georgian Parliamentary Elections”. The main purpose of Voter Advise Application is to raise awareness of voters about upcoming elections and programs of the political parties. The representatives of the Fund “Sukhumi” have shared information about project with political parties and discussed possibility of their involvement in its implementation. The parties have expressed interest and willingness to cooperate. The organization continues meetings and communication with active political parties to ensure their involvement in the project.
At the moment we have met the following political parties:Eka Beselia’s political party “For Justice”, “Lelo for Georgia”, “Girchi”, „United National Movement”, “European Georgia”.
“Voter Advice Application” implies the creation of the online platform. By answering the questions integrated in the application, the citizens will get information about position of the political parties. It will help the voter to identify the political parties closer to his/her views and to ensure an informed choice.
