In May Lawyer of the fund “Sukhumi” conducted 7 informational meetings in IDP settlements. The meetings were attended by 51 citizens. Their main problems are: unemployment, economical crisis, resettlement, providing living spaces, gasification, legalization of spaces, issues of health and social care.
According the interests of meeting participants, the lawyer gave them information regarding different legal issues. Individual consultations were made regarding violence victims and the rights of their children.
The lawyer also prepared statement for one socially unprotected woman, with the request of health examination and funding of medicines.

On June 15 the lawyer and psychologist of the fund “Sukhumi” met the beneficiaries and teachers of the day center of disabled people. Total number of attendants was 12 persons. The beneficiaries talked about their needs. They expressed a will to be employed and more involved in the city life. They showed the guests their handmaids, paintings, jewelries.
The psychologist held the first course of art therapy and individual consultations. The lawyer gave information regarding a law on social care of the people with disabilities.

In May,9 group psychological meetings and 7 individual consultations were held in collective centers of Kutaisi. Total number of participants - 67 from 19 to 67 years. As well as in the Women Support Centers, IDPs held talks on the topic of conflicts and their solutions with a view to preventing domestic violence.

The constructive end of the conflict is based on the ability to forgive and give in. It should be recalled that your partner, is worthy of respect - this was one of the conclusions after interesting discussions

12 psychological group meetings and individual consultations – this is statistics of November according the places of IDP compact resettlement in Kutaisi.

Levels and periods of relationships, the conditions of happy relationships for prevention of domestic violence – during the meetings women discussed these issues.

- It's all about the woman - said the psychologist. - Instead of looking around and searching the man of her dreams, you must first focus on yourself, and correct something your outlook and way of life.

The main topic of the psychological group meetings was the talks on "How to build a harmonious relationship in the family" and information about the International Campaign "16 active days against gender-based violence".

Understanding, respect, attention are the basic values ​​of each family. Listening to your partner, and meeting his desires, you will get a strong family and relationships based on trust and love - such was the advice of a psychologist after active discussion.

In November, 9 psychological counseling meetings were held in Kutaisi in places of compact settlement of IDPs (63 participants), and 3 individual consultations were held on crises in family relationships.

In WSC of Khurcha (Zugdidi Municipality) there was held a group psychological consultation, which was attended by 13 women (5 local and 8 IDPs). Topic: aggression and its forms, types and reasons. It was mentioned that decrease of aggression promotes to prevention of domestic violence. The women noted that till today they have fear of war and “aggression” is very dangerous word for them.
The lawyer of WSC spoke about divorcing and alimony. They had individual questions and received competent answers from the lawyer.

Planned legal informative – consultation meetings were held in WSCs of Kutaisi, Khoni, Tskaltubo, Senaki, Poti and Khurcha (Zugdidi Municipality).

During the meetings there were discussions of different actual issues – domestic violence, law against violence, reasons of domestic conflicts, procedures of divorce.

Meeting participants also received individual consultations. For example one woman, who had a conflict in family, by the advice of the lawyer addressed the branch of GYLA and now she feels herself more protected.

One of the beneficiaries in Kutaisi, who is the victim of violence, together with the lawyer addressed the lawyer of the fund “Sukhumi” for obtaining the status of a victim

that would give her the opportunity to stay in the shelter and continue the rehabilitation course. We prepared all necessary documents and sent to the Commission, giving the status of the victim in Tbilisi. February 17 there was held a meeting, the woman was given the status of the victim, she can already reside in the shelter and continue psychotherapy.

In collective centers of IDPs in Kutaisi, informational-consultative meetings were held. It was attended by 53 citizens of different age.  The main issues of the lawyer, according their interest were: law on IDPs, human being and his rights, right for implementation of local self- government by the citizens, mechanisms of victim protection.
Individual consultations were held: social allowance, procedures of allowance appointment for IDPs, rights and duties of IDPs, who were provided by living spaces, criteria of socially unprotected persons.

On July 8, informational-consultative meeting was held in Kutaisi in collective center of former silk factory. Local and NGO families live in unbearable conditions. They have common sanitary facility and kitchen. Sewage system is damaged and there are unsanitary conditions in the building.
IDP families filled application forms and expect resettlement, but still this problem is not solved.
Lawyer of the Fund "Sukhumi" gave the participants of the meeting interest to them advices and at the request of one family one statement was prepared and sent to the Ministry of IDPs and Resettlement.
