Internet meeting was held between the representatives of Imereti Scientists’ Union “Spectri”, Lanchkhuti Information Center and the Georgian Rural Hall, within the framework of the project “A common forum for CSOs from Guria, Imereti and Racha-Lechkhumi for PAR Roadmap monitoring” regarding the issues of the organization of needs research for the implementation of the roadmap of Public Administration Reform in Lanchkhuti municipality.

Примечательно, что запланированные в рамках проекта активности осуществляются по графику посредством  онлайн консультаций и телефонной коммуникации. В апреле онлайн консультации состоялись с представителями гражданских организаций Амбролаури - Ресурс центр самоуправления Рача-Лечхуми и Квемо Сванети и «Региональный хаб Рача-Лечхуми и Квемо Сванети – Абхазинтерконт», а также с организациями гражданского общества Цагери «Активный гражданин – отчето-обязанная власть» и «Центр Цагери по правам женщин и равенства».

На онлайн встречах была рассмотрена  специфика проведения запланированных по проекту углубленных интервью, формат проведения тренинга, а также все вызовы, которые должны быть решены в результате дистанционной работы.

Since March 16, the Fund "Sukhumi" is in remote mode. The staff members have active communication with each other. General meetings are held on the Internet platform, project work is reviewed, plans are discussed. As a result of using various online methods in April, all activities were carried out.

Based on the situation, on-line cooperation continues with civil society organizations (CSOs) of Vani municipality.

During the ordinary meeting, the questionnaire process was discussed, through which the regional needs will be assessed for the implementation of public administration reform - the challenges that CSOs face with were also mentioned. In-depth interviews were also planned, experts and methods were selected - all this is the basis of successful implementation of activities within the framework of the project.

An online working meeting was held with civil society organizations of Terjola Municipality - Union for the Protection of Children's Rights and Civic Education "Children - the Future of Georgia" and the Women's Initiative Group.

It was noted that in this difficult situation, it was still possible to contact the target groups and continue to work in terms of local needs assessment. Despite the fact that technical problems often appear due to the low speed of the Internet, the process has begun, respondents have been selected, the survey is being conducted using the methods of survey and in-depth interviews.

So actively was carried out the implementation of  the project “A common forum for CSOs from Guria, Imereti and Racha-Lechkhumi for PAR Roadmap monitoring”.

On April 7 and 11, two online meetings were held with civil society organizations in Khoni.

The first meeting was held with members of the IDP Initiative Group Zaza Kalandia and Bachana Basilaia. The second meeting was attended by the chairman of Education and Development Center “Edelweiss” - Nazi Jikia and member of the organization - Tamar Gendzekhadze.

The working process related to the questionnaire was reviewed, as well as plans regarding the creation of working groups in which members of the Gender Council will be represented.

On April 15, an online meeting was held with Bagdati civil society organizations:  “Support now” and the Union of Persons with Disabilities “Faith and Hope”.

At the meeting, the questionnaire process was summarized with the aim to assess regional needs for the implementation of public administration reform PAR at local level. An in-depth interview questionnaire was also considered, and an interview process was planned to implement project activities in the current situation.

The Fund “Sukhumi” organized an online meeting with women living near the conflict separation line, in the village Pakhulani (Tsalenjikha municipality).

- The problems, existing in communities, the dangers that women feel in emergency situation- the discussion was held regarding these issues.

The participants noted a complex emotional background during these days in the villages near the conflict separation line. Particularly concerned are IDP families whose relatives live in Gali. Students have serious problems regarding the Internet.

Response to problems will also be continued on a distance.

According to the quarantine provision, the regular meeting of the partners of the project “A common forum for CSOs from Guria, Imereti and Racha-Lechkhumi for PAR Roadmap monitoring” - the Fund “Sukhumi” the organization “Spectri” and the Fund of Women Entrepreneurs was held online.

Information regarding health in a force majeure situation - both of the project partners and of the regional partner organizations was discussed. There was made a review of the project work and the results, challenges and necessities. They also talked about the narrative and financial reports, other organizational issues.

At the end of the meeting, future activities were planned: in terms of studying the needs of the project municipalities, their systematization, and development of results-oriented recommendations. The mechanisms for the implementation of plans based on existing reality were discussed in detail.

Representatives of Union of Scientists of the Imereti - "Spectri" held the first internet - meeting with a representative of the Young Teachers’ Union - Tamar Oniani in the framework of the project A common forum for CSOs from Guria, Imereti and Racha-Lechkhumi for PAR Roadmap monitoring”.

 During the online meeting, issues related to organizing a quantitative survey with the aim of identifying the needs for implementation of the public administration reform roadmap in Ozurgeti municipality, were discussed. It should be noted that the project envisages to conduct the survey of at least 150 respondents. Due to the situation regarding COVID-19 in the country, the partner organization in Ozurgeti will mainly use Google Drive capabilities, but in case of necessity, the phone calls can also be made. In accordance with the demands of emergency situation, project partners stay homeand continue to work to through various communication tools in order to achieve their goals.
