The women, who gathered for the final meeting of Kutaisi Club of Voter Women familiarized with the magazine: “Gender Advisory Councils”, which describes results and achievements of the work in three-year project.

The meeting participants analyzed strength and weaknesses, spoke about challenges and possibilities.

The project is finished, but the club will continue working in frames of the new project, which means cooperation with local government, political parties, supporting women for elections.

Women also spoke about solved problems and about other issues, that should be solved. They have already chosen some of the problems for advocacy.

At the information meetings of the Youth Clubs, the topic of advocacy was discussed.

The students from the Mendji school (Senak Municipality) expressed great interest in the matter. A meeting was held in the Youth Club of Kutaisi.

A volunteer of fund “Sukhumi”, an expert from Austria Gundi Dick attended the meeting in Tskhaltub School No. 1 named after Otía Ioseliani.

The meeting participants had many questions, they gave personal examples. Young people talked about the problems that they are going to advocate. They received advice on how to define the problem, how to create working groups, how to lead the advocacy process, so that it could be successfully completed.

Results of domestic violence, solutions and results - this topic gathered girls and boys at the Youth Club of the Fund "Sukhumi".
In the Women's Support Centre of Khoni there was held frank conversation. Young people brought interesting examples from the lives of their families.
At a meeting in the school of the village Koki they talked about economic issues, stereotypes, role of the family.
The meeting at school №4 of Poti was attended by 20 young people. They were actively involved in the debate and defended their positions.
In school №3 of Tskhaltubo the meeting was held for the first time, therefore, the participants received information about the Fund "Sukhumi" and work with youth.
The meeting, held in one of the collective centers of Kutaisi was attended by members of the new club. Discussion of the topic of domestic violence was held actively. The examples created frank atmosphere.
There were lot of participants in school №4 of Senaki. Interactive showed that students are less informed, so more time was given to the media.
The results were already visible at the meetings - changes in the considerations of young people in their vision and attitude towards the issue.

At ordinary meeting of the club of voter women of Tskaltubo, there was discussion of memorandum for submission in regional organization of ruling party. Also they discussed social part of the party program, several priorities were allocated and by the name of the club will be prepared concrete recommendations, directed to improvement of women’s position. On the initiative of the club and with the help of Gamgeoba (administration of local government), inclusive children attended the performance of the puppet theatre. It was noted that similar activities are important for them and it will have systematic character.

Moderator and assistant of the club also met the deputy of parliament from Tskaltubo municipality – Tsotne Zurabiani, who expressed a will of cooperation with the club, which is aimed at activation of women and youth.

On May 16, a regular meeting of the Club of Voter Women was held in the conference room of Khoni Gamgeoba, which was devoted to the discussion of constitutional changes, the public discussion of which in the different cities of Georgia over the past month had a huge resonance. In the opinion of activists of the Club, they are entitled and obliged to fix their position on this issue and submit them to the relevant authorities.

Members of Kutaisi Club of Voter Women waited for this meeting with particular interest. This was due to the fact that there was invited Lela Kelyui96iani - chairman of the finance and budget committee of Sakrebulo, a member of the Gender Advisory Council. Club members were waiting for this meeting and specially prepared questions. Ms. Lela familiarized them with the programs of the city budget and answered the questions. At the meeting, the focus was made on the creation Gender Equality Council at the municipal level, which is one of the pressing issues for the Club of Voter Women.

Changes in the Constitution of Georgia, how these changes are acceptable to citizens, how this will affect the future of the state as a whole, which model of the state system will be implemented - discussion of these issues took place at the ordinary meeting of the Club of Voter Women in the meeting room of Senaki Sakrebulo. Members of the Club recorded their position.

The second part of the meeting was devoted to the SWOT analysis of the Club's work. The activists had the opportunity to make situational analysis, to think about the weaknesses  and strengths, to improve the activities.

Club of Women Voters in Tskaltubo was carried out in different format – there was held a conference “16 active days against gender violence”. the conference was attended by representatives of self-government and fun “Sukhumi”, local and IDP women, youth.

The participants learned the history of campaign. Reports of the lawyer and psychologist concerned deplorable results of violence in adolescents. There was held a presentation of young people on: “No to Violence!”. there were fixed their opinions for the prevention of violence.

The meeting was held on the background of active inclusion of participants.

The Club of Voter Women was attended by guests - representatives from the City Hall of Ozurgeti and got acquainted with his work. In their opinion, the work of the Club is necessary for activating the women of the municipality, so that they have the motivation to be included in the political processes. Representatives of the City Hall stressed that the Club should make special efforts during the local government elections, so that women candidates would feel support, first of all, from the women themselves.

Club of Women-Voters of Khobi is actively preparing for the 16-day campaign against violence towards women. At the last meeting there was held a discussion of this problem, there was given the story of one of the victims, emphasized the importance of the special interviews with both women's and men's groups, especially in the villages, on the topic of domestic violence and victim protection mechanisms. Within the 16-day campaign, the club members have planned an exhibition and sale of women's crafts, informational meetings in kindergartens and schools.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of khobi Sakrebulo - Mamuka Kardava, who expressed support for the initiatives of the Club members.
