Youth clubs were held with participation of the pupils of schools No3 – Tskaltubo, No7, Poti, also village Ivandidi (Khurcha municipality.)
During the informational meetings there was conversation about ethic norms and inner culture, which is very important for the prevention of violence.
Young people actively involved in the discusiions, expressed their positions. As it was noted, similar meetings are productive as its format differs from the lessons. Free space creatres a culture of discussion among the youth, also progressive thinking and promotes to establish harmonic relationship.
In Tskaltubo, Kutaisi, Koki (Zugdidi Municipality) there were held informational meetings of the youth clubs on the issue of advocacy, its role and meaning.
The young people, participants of the meeting noted that the issue is very important for them. They were actively involved in the discussion, spoke about their problems and ways of solution.
Gender violence, reasons and mechanisms of protection – this issue was discussed during informational meetings of the youth club in schools No7 of Senaki and No2 of Tskaltubo, also in WSC of Kutaisi. Participants heard information about a campaign of “16 active days against gender violence”. this issue is not new for the youth, so they were involved in the discussion with interest.

“I like similar meetings and discussions, as I receive lots of necessary information”.
“I want my generation to have important share in creation of gender equal society. Such meetings promote to this process.”
Three more informational meetings were held in the Youth Clubs - in schools No. 1 Senaki and Khoni, as well as in the Women Support Center of Kutaisi.
Young people with interest discussed the topic of trafficking, talked about economic problems that often cause violence, migration and trafficking.
- “This problem is paid little attention. And the statistics show that many of those who left the country are in unfavorable, unworthy conditions and, in fact, are victims of trafficking," said one of the participants.
As it was said at the meeting, that is why, for the purpose of prevention, it is necessary to discuss such topics with young people so that they determine the positive and negative aspects of the trip abroad, and also knew about the legislation, the protective mechanisms.
In public school of the village Koki (Zugdidi Municipality) and in WSC of Khoni there were held informational meetings of the youth clubs on the common issue domestic violence, its reasons and preventive mechanisms.
In Koki there were invited pupils from school of village Orsantia, who themselves expressed a will to participate in the meeting. New members were involved in discussion of topic.
The youth of Khoni is well aware with the issue and it is easy to work with them. There were interesting examples, active discussions, there were fixed initiatives.
“While the law and society will be separated, the problem will not be solved” – mentioned one of the participants.
The meeting in WSC of Kutaisi was devoted to reasons and protective mechanisms of trafficking. In this active youth club there were invited three new members. They were involved actively in discussions. It was noted that movement and travel is a risk, if a person has no correct information.
Informational meetings of theyouth clubs were held in public school of the village Koki (Zugdidi Municipality), in WSCs of Khoni and Kutaisi, in school No6.
There were interesting live examples about people of other religion and nationality, there was conversation about religion, mixed families.
Some more aggressive young people analyzed the problem from another side...These discussions contribute to the formation of modern, free, tolerant youth who will change society for the better.

The meeting of the Club of Voter Women was held in the meeting hall of Sakrebulo of Senaki Municipality. Members of Sakrebulo Nana Alania, Dinara Khukhua and Inga Kardava were invited to the meeting. It is noteworthy that all of them will run for the upcoming elections to local self-government.
Women spoke about the current local programs, the implementation of which they contributed, about the results and future plans.
Advocacy issues were also discussed, and along with representatives of local self-government, ways of resolving are outlined.


The Tskhaltubo Club of Voter Women developed recommendations that should be submitted to political parties for their integration into their programs.
The problems of youth employment, the need to introduce an internship program for them, as well as the organization of free courses related to the development of hotel services were highlighted.
The club planned to hold the action with the support of local government. Young people will be involved in the action, who at different places in Tskhaltubo will plant seedlings allocated by local self-government.
The project is implemented with the support of the U.S. Embassy in Georgia
