- Thank you so much for your attention, warmth, comfort and home environment. During these two weeks we have fallen in love with you. The psychologist could completely relieve my stressful tension, every time she appeared my fears were washed away like a wave. I felt relief and peace for the first time.

These are the words of a young woman who passed a comprehensive daily rehabilitation at the Rehabilitation Center of the Women Fund "Sukhumi".

In early December, there were two women and three children in the center. The teacher worked with the children - they played together, drew, studied, had fun...

A psychologist, a social worker and a lawyer worked with women on attitudes and beliefs that prevent them from building harmonious relationships. They helped them overcome emotional and behavioral problems in order to better adapt to society.

5 people spent 10 November days in our rehabilitation center - three elderly women and two grandchildren of one of the grandmothers. Everyone tried to create family comfort in the center - delicious dinners were prepared for the guests. A social worker, a lawyer and a psychologist were actively involved in the process of women's rehabilitation and a teacher worked with the children. The work was carried out in direction of traumas, fears, resentment, stress and self-esteem.

The women shared their impressions:

- I have been to many places in my life, but I have never felt such a warm attitude anywhere, the advice of a psychologist is very important to me. Thank you so much for being so attentive and kind.

- Elderly people need warmth. There is a lot of warmth here - especially warm human attitude. Everyone helps, smiles, tries to please you. My soul is rejuvenated and renewed.

- For many years I suffered from psychological abuse from family members. And only now I realized that I need to love myself - that's how I was taught here and I will live by this principle.

One woman, during the period that she was in the rehabilitation center was filled with positive emotions, realized her place in life, felt peace and freedom. Now she is ready to fight for her better life. The second one says that she has received the necessary knowledge. I realized how important it is to have adequate self-esteem and, most importantly, that I must study and be a worthy mother to my daughter...

All this is the merit of their stay at the Rehabilitation Center of the Women Fund "Sukhumi". In October, the center hosted three women with young children, victims of domestic violence, who had gone through suffering and trauma.

They underwent intensive rehabilitation work - a social worker, a lawyer and a psychologist were actively involved.

The results of the work are visible in their comments.
