Feedback at Senaki Group meeting
Members of Senaki IDP Women Initiative Group actively participate in the training cycle to raise their competence.
During the feedback at the planned June meeting, the members of the group assessed how useful is the training for them and how they use the acquired knowledge in practice.
According to the participants, they had the opportunity to learn important things regarding various topical issues: peacebuilding, gender-based violence, forms of civic engagement, networks, coalitions... By participating in the trainings, they acquired new skills and will work actively so that the problems of IDPs appear into the municipal programs and contribute to the implementation of the National Action Plan of UN Resolution 1325 at the local level.
The project is implemented with the support
of the UN Women organization
