Cultural-Humanitarian Fund “Sukhumi” representative office in Tbilisi has started meetings with the political parties about the current innovative project - “Online Vote-O-Meter - Voter Advice Application for 2020 Georgian Parliamentary Elections”. The main purpose of Voter Advise Application is to raise awareness of voters about upcoming elections and programs of the political parties. The representatives of the Fund “Sukhumi” have shared information about project with political parties and discussed possibility of their involvement in its implementation. The parties have expressed interest and willingness to cooperate. The organization continues meetings and communication with active political parties to ensure their involvement in the project.
At the moment we have met the following political parties:Eka Beselia’s political party “For Justice”, “Lelo for Georgia”, “Girchi”, „United National Movement”, “European Georgia”.
“Voter Advice Application” implies the creation of the online platform. By answering the questions integrated in the application, the citizens will get information about position of the political parties. It will help the voter to identify the political parties closer to his/her views and to ensure an informed choice.

Civil society organization "Support - 2020" in Vani is implementing a project "Informing the population about the importance of participation in the process of implementing public administration reform at the local level." According to the project, an information meeting with citizens was held in the administrative unit of Shuamta. They received information about the main directions of public administration, about the importance of citizen inclusion, etc. The meeting participants expressed gratitude for the fact that communication with the government is becoming more active.
Within the framework of the project, a training was also held on the topic "Inclusion of citizens and the activation of volunteer activists in the process of introducing public administration reform." The training was attended by representatives of five target administrative units - a youth composition of volunteer activists.
The project work continues. The small project was prepared within the framework of the partnership project “A common forum for CSOs from Guria, Imereti and Racha-Lechkhumi for PAR Roadmap monitoring”, which is being implemented by three organizations: Fund Sukhumi, Fund of Women Entrepreneurs and Imereti Scientists’ Union "Spectri".
“Civic Spectrum – Equality” is a civil society organization that implements the project “Informing citizens about the roadmap for public administration reform”. The organization started working with individual groups. Persons with disabilities and their family members were represented at the meeting. The forms of inclusion of citizens in public administration process were considered.

Bagdati civil society organization “Equality Now” holds informational meetings with various groups. These are activities within the framework of the small project “Participation of the population in the process of implementing public administration reform”. The goal of the project is to inform single parents, mothers with many children and pensioners about how public administration reform will affect them. Participants of the meetings are interested in learning about the forms of civic inclusion.

The organization “Citizens' Activity for Effective Governance and Justice” conducted preparatory work in June and July an initiative group was mobilized, a training was held on the topic of increasing civil activism. Now they are working to promote community problems. Activists got the information they needed to get actively involved in the project - “Needs and necessities, awareness and promotion of the inclusion of youth and people with disabilities in the administrative unit of the community of Salominao (Vani Municipality)”.

A training on the topic “Identify the mechanisms of raising citizens’ involvement and improving the efficiency of local self-government e-services through the Public Administration Reform (PAR) document” was held by the NGO “Active citizen-accountable government”- partner organization of the “Fund of Women Entrepreneurs”. The aforementioned training was taken place in Tsagery Municipality within the project “Increasing the Competence of Tsageri Municipality Employees for Effective Public Administration Reform” supported by the sub grant.
Representatives, in total 29, of the executive and legislative bodies of the municipality attended the training.
The training aimed at improving the qualifications of local civil servants on public administration reform, that’s one of the preconditions to establish effective, transparent and inclusive governance.

The Ozurgeti organization - the Union of Young Teachers has been working since June in the framework of the project "What is public administration". A training course was held on "What is public administration". The course consists of several meetings and its purpose is to inform young people and raise their awareness. The project includes 25 young people. The training discussed topical issues: historical aspects of state formation, public eligibility, the governance process, constitutional rights, policy planning, priorities at the municipal level, etc.

"The regional hub of Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - Abkhazinterkont" is implementing the project “Accountable and transparent self-governance - informed population” in Ambrolauri municipality. On July 7, project presentation / round table discussion was held. The meeting was attended by representatives of civil society organizations, community organizations and local government. There was a talk about the activities planned within the framework of the project, which aim at the availability of electronic services.

On July 7 and 8, the Fund of Women Entrepreneurs held monthly consultations in Tsageri and Ambrolauri municipalities. In order to obtain effective results in projects’ implementation, consultations were provided to partner organizations:
Tsageri: "Tsageri for Women's Rights and Equality Center", "Active Citizen - Accountable Authority".
Ambrolauri - "Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Self-Government Resource Center", "Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Regional Hub - Abkhazinterkont".
There was also a meeting with representatives of local governments. They got acquainted with the results of the local needs assessment carried out in Tsageri and Ambrolauri municipalities. Local authorities are ready to cooperate in frames of the project for successful implementation of public administration reform.
