On February 15 there was held a meeting of the Club of Women-Voters of Kutaisi. It was attended by activists of the club and the new members. And also there was invited a Deputy of Social Services of the City Hall Mamuka Sanikidze. He introduced the attendants to social programs of the 2016 budget and explained the terms of use. It was said that there is a new program this year for the people with problems of hearing. Also, a program that envisages creation of housing fund – of a temporary residence.
Club members noted that they will spread the information to a lot of people know about specific programs.
Several women asked for help in dealing with personal problems. Guest wrote and promised to help.
With the aim of advocating local issues 7 members of the club are invited to a meeting of the Gender Advisory Council, which will discuss the issue of urban transport.
In frames of the project “Active involvement of women in political life of Georgia through democratization of election processes” in Tskaltubo there was created the Club of Voter Women.
During the first meeting the participants received information about project activities, the work of the clubs in other cities. They saw their role in identifying and advocating the problem.
The members of the Club of Voter Women are ready to facilitate the implementation of local gender policy.

In the meeting hall of Khoni Sakrebulo there was held the first meeting of the club of voter women. Meeting participants received information about the beginning of new project “Active involvement of women in political life of Georgia through democratization of election processes”, about the project gpoals and envisaged activities
It was mentioned a close cooperation with local self-government, political parties and media, about elaboration of recommendations and their advocacy.
The women are ready to active collaboration. They are sure, that the project will help to achieve changes in the municipality.

In Zugdidi, in the center of democratic inclusion there was the first meeting of the Club of Women-Voters. Participants of the meeting learned that in frames of the new project of the fund "Sukhumi" will work in clubs of 8 cities. They also received information about the work of the Fund "Sukhumi" on the implementation of local gender policy.
Members of the Club of Women-Voters approved a new project, and noted that they were ready to cooperate. In their view, the work should be focused on results.

On February 2, in Senaki there was held the first meeting of the Club of Voter Women of the current year. The meeting was attended by members of Sakrebulo, chairperson of gender advisory council – Nana Alania and active members of the council: Inga kardava and Eliso Tsaguria.
The club members heard information regarding the programs of 2016 budget.
During the discussions, the club membersspoke about different problems: restoration of social status, equipment of kindergartens and gasification.
The members of Sakrebulo discussed all problems and promised the participants to solve them in nearest future.
This is a good example of collaboration between population and self-government with support of Gender Advisory Council.
The women, who gathered for the final meeting of Kutaisi Club of Voter Women familiarized with the magazine: “Gender Advisory Councils”, which describes results and achievements of the work in three-year project.
The meeting participants analyzed strength and weaknesses, spoke about challenges and possibilities.
The project is finished, but the club will continue working in frames of the new project, which means cooperation with local government, political parties, supporting women for elections.
Women also spoke about solved problems and about other issues, that should be solved. They have already chosen some of the problems for advocacy.
At the information meetings of the Youth Clubs, the topic of advocacy was discussed.
The students from the Mendji school (Senak Municipality) expressed great interest in the matter. A meeting was held in the Youth Club of Kutaisi.
A volunteer of fund “Sukhumi”, an expert from Austria Gundi Dick attended the meeting in Tskhaltub School No. 1 named after Otía Ioseliani.
The meeting participants had many questions, they gave personal examples. Young people talked about the problems that they are going to advocate. They received advice on how to define the problem, how to create working groups, how to lead the advocacy process, so that it could be successfully completed.
