The updated composition of the Forum Theater continues the traditions of this unusual theatre.
In January, young actors visited Zugdidi municipality. Performances were held in two villages: Koki and Didi Nedzi. Spectators gathered in schools saw several scenes: about lovers, domestic violence, the relationship between mother and children. All scenes are taken from real life. That is why a certain part of the audience saw themselves in both positive and negative roles.
The audience was so active that there was inclusion in every scene followed by discussions.

The forum theater was held in schools No. 1 and No. 4 in Tskaltubo. The audience was interested in the performances, topical problems that the forum theater focuses on.
Part of the audience joined the scenes, as required by the specifics of the forum theater. The scene reflecting the relationship of parents and children became the subject of special discussion.
After the performances, master classes were held in both schools on how to form a forum theater and what is the peculiarity of its work. The students took an active part in this process.

In November, all three of our theaters were presented to the audience - the forum theater, the shadow theater and the puppet theater.
The forum-theater held performances in the youth center of Senaki municipality. The topic of migration and the problem of the relationship between mother and childtrn caused an active discussion and involvement of the audience. Thus, the Forum Theater implemented its mission.
The shadow theater and the puppet theater organized performances in the school of the village Khani (Bagdati municipality). The little spectators saw their favorite characters and showed great interest. These theaters also played their role - they talked with children about tolerance and harmony.

The end of autumn is especially beautiful in the village, covered with yellow, red and burgundy flowers.
The forum-theater of the Women Fund "Sukhumi" visited the high-mountainous village Khani - Bagdati municipality.
Primary school students and pupils of the kindergarten met us in the school yard, expecting something interesting. With joint initiative of the Gender Equality Council of Bagdati Municipality and the Fund “Sukhumi”, a show of the puppet theater and the shadow theater was performed for them.
The scenarios of the performances touched upon gender topics and issues of tolerance, which were introduced to children through familiar characters.
An amazing mood, emotions, eyes lit up with joy, applause ... All this will long remain in the memory of the children, the youth group of the theater and the organizers.
At the end of the meeting, the members of the Gender Equality Council presented the children with sweets, the school administration finished this beautiful day with colorful fireworks.

In October, the Forum Theater held two meetings with the audience according to the - in the Children's Village and in the Kutaisi Park. The interesting performances in the Children's Village were followed by an active discussion and most importantly, the involvement of adults.
The performance in the park surprised passers-by. The scene of the beggar was particularly impressive for them.
Forum-theatre performances and a fact that we can all work together to prevent violence have a certain impact on people.

It was a large-scale and impressive performance for the young actors of the Women Fund "Sukhumi".
With the support of the City Hall of Tsalenjikha Municipality, the shadow theater and the puppet theater performances were held in the cinema hall named after Nikoloz Shengelaya.
The little spectators watched the beautiful scenes with particular interest. Director of the theater Magda Chikhladze told them how the Forum Theatre, the Shadow Theater and the Puppet Theater were created and what is the importance of these performances for the audiences of different ages.
The organizers thanked the theater group of the Women Fund "Sukhumi" and expressed their desire for new meetings.

In August, people almost leave the city, but there are many guests. It was they who attended the performances of the forum theater in Kutaisi.
Two performances were held. The viewer got interested in this format. Some have not seen or heard about the forum theater at all. Some of the audience actively joined the scenes. Unfortunately, everyone refused to take pictures, so only the actors and episodes of the scenes are visible in the photos.
Open-air performances play a big role as a mechanism for informing society and preventing violence.

There were not many spectators, but their feedback was interesting. Tourists spoke with particular enthusiasm. They drew attention to the importance of this unusual form of dialogue with the audience.

The Fund "Sukhumi" has three theaters: a forum theater, a shadow theater and a puppet theater.
This month, the puppet theater became more active, it began rehearsals and held performances.
On June 1, on Children's International Day, a performance "The Turtledove" was held for the kids, who were in the Rehabilitation Center of the Women Fund "Sukhumi". The children really enjoyed the performance. Their favorite characters spoke about friendship and love in a language they understood.
On June 20, on the International IDP/Refugee Day, young actors came out in front of the audience in Kutaisi, in the "Park of Love". The topic of tolerance, expressed in the words of puppets, turned out to be interesting for the audience.
There were cheers, applause, photo sessions…
