Work-shops in kindergarten No 6 of Senaki regarding domestic violence, gender and eco-sanitary was too impressive. These issues were interesting for the participants and at the same time showed that they have no enough information – it was evaluation of Dali Kachibaia – coordinator of the project “pre-school education for gender equality and healthy environment in Senaki preschool unity”.

Trainers expressed their opinion, who already had experience of communication with the audience. The project coordinator presented information regarding the activities in future.

GAC meeting discussed evaluation of gender needs of Senaki population, which is planned in future. The target groups were chosen, the recommendations were elaborated and will be submitted to local self-government while planning 2016 budget.

The work is continued under the project: “women define degree of human security for building of confidence and stable peace” (donor – Swedish women fund KTK).

Nowadays “Methodology of research of human security level” together with Abkhazian partners is in the process. The statute consists of the following items: introduction, definition of human security and its parameters, methodology of conducting researches and a rule, experience of Israel in direction of defining human rights security level.

With support of the fund “Sukhumi” and local self-government international day of sport – for development and peace was celebrated in Senaki on April 6. The event was actively participated by Senaki GAC of the fund “Sukhumi”, Senaki WSC and the youth club.

Final matches of the tournament was held in Sport Palace. The team of Nosiri won among the girls and the team of public school No3 - among the boys.

Finalist teams were awarded by certificates of the Fund "Sukhumi".

Work of Kutaisi Gender Advisory Council (GAC) is transformed into an active phase. By decision of majority, GAC was formed as a non-entrepreneurial, non-profit association.

Since April starts a project funded by the Fund "Sukhumi" and the City Hall of Kutaisi "Gender education in preschool".

Project is envisaged for five months, and it will contribute to the education of gender-sensitive generation in the system of preschool education.
