The project of the Women Support Center “Find Yourself” will promote to strengthening of women at risk group of violence. It is planned to conduct a research in two villages of the municipality to study the challenges for the employment of women and the situation for overcoming these challenges. The next step is to increase the awareness of the beneficiaries and their equipment with necessary skills for employment. The project will include a Women's Club, which is created on the basis of the Women Support Center, whose members have already developed a questionnaire and research strategy.
Senaki Womes Support Center started to implement two projects: “Non-Violent Environment for the Future Generation” and Future Without Bullying”. In frames of the first project, the work will be held in two kindergartens of Senaki municipality - informing parents and teachers about non-violent approaches, which contributes to the formation of a healthy generation. The second project includes informing the youth of two schools on the issues of conflict management.
Preparatory meetings have already begun with pedagogical staff of target schools, representatives of the kindergarten association and local self-government.
Poti Women Support Center implements a small project “Way to a Healthy Future”. The project will help to reduce the statistics on drug addiction, ludomania and alcoholism in the municipality of Poti. This will be possible through coordinated work of the experts included in the project: psychiatrists, narcologists, human rights defenders, clergy, representatives of the governmental and non-governmental sectors. The presentation of the project was held in the hall of Sakrebulo, and was aired via local television.
“Non-violent future generation” - this is the name of the small project of Kutaisi Women Support Center, which has already started its activities. The area of project implementation is two schools of Kutaisi: school No. 5 of Abkhazian Autonomous Republic and school No. 17. The aim is to train the pupils of the upper classes in gaining necessary skills for conflict management.
In January, introductory meetings were held with the administration and the teachers’ staff of both schools. The project assistant met with the parents and gave them information about local government services.
Mobilizers of the Women Support Centers of Senaki, Kutaisi, Khoni, Khurcha / Koki (Zugdidi municipality) and Pakhulani (Tsalenjikha municipality) held large-scale mobilization meetings. The aim of the meeting is to disseminate information about the international campaign of “16 Active Days Against Gender-Based Violence” and to hold discussions regarding the problem so that representatives of different sectors of society realize their role in violence prevention. Meetings were held with representatives of local self-government, teachers, medical staff, IDP and local women.
In frames of the small project of Tskaltubo Women Support Center “Youth Against Gender-Based Violence”, a forum was held in Tskaltubo Sakrebulo. The forum was attended by members of the Gender Equality Council of the municipality and Tskaltubo Youth Sakrebulo, as well as representatives of the Fund “Sukhumi”.
During the meeting there was a discussion about the identification of facts of violence against women / domestic violence, about the inclusion of youth in the process of responding to the facts of violence.
Screenings of the films "Home" and "Speak" was held in frames of Terjola Women Support Center small project. Films tell real stories about facts of violence against women. The events were attended by the chairperson of Sakrebulo of the municipality, the chairman of the Gender Equality Council Nino Janelidze together with members of the Council. It was noted that such meetings and active discussions are necessary, and the inclusion of self-government is a guarantee of efficiency.
The 6-month project of the Poti Women Support Center “Chain of Violence” has completed. The final part of the project was held in the conference hall of Sakrebulo of the municipality. A short film, shot in frames of the project “I was lost in my own home”, was shown, and the achieved results were summed up.
The event was attended by members of the Women's Club, created during the project and representatives of society who are ready, to continue work after the project completion.

Lawyer of the Fund "Sukhumi" met with the educators and teachers of kindergartens No.11 and No.13 of Poti. The psychologist conducted an active work with the kids through the method of art therapy. The teachers were also involved in the process. With the help of drawings, they could delve into the inner world of children. The performances of the Shadow Theater of the Fund “Sukhumi” were also shown in the kindergartens. According to the heroes of the fairy tale, children received information about gender approaches and equality.

The training on: "Types of domestic violence, ways and referral mechanisms was held in the kindergarten of the village Teklati (Senaki Municipality).
Participants - educators and parents - received information on the forms of violence, ways of identification and the mechanisms of response. The work was held on the background of active discussion. It was noted that such information was important and timely. The training was held in frames of the small project of Senaki Women Support Center “Parents for a Healthy Generation”.
