An initiative group of IDP women in Senaki joined the research process. The survey will identify problems and challenges that are actual in collective centers of different status. 40 families will be interviewed in Senaki municipality. As a result of the survey, a social profile of collective centers and privatized facilities will be formed.

A consultation meeting was held with members of the Initiative Group. The group is prepared for the survey.

Women Support Centers actively respond to all actual events. Women expressed protest against the war in Ukraine. Silent actions were held in all ten municipalities (Terjola, Bagdati, Vani, Tkibuli, Samtredia, Zugdidi, Tsalenjikha, Senaki, Kobuleti, Chokhatauri).

Solidarity for Peace! Solidarity for the better future for our children! Peace to Ukraine! – these were the peaceful messages of the women.

Representatives of the Women Support Centers also took part in the silent action of the Women Fund “Sukhumi”, which was held on March 8 in Kutaisi.

The topic of solidarity was discussed at the information meetings held by the Women Support Centers,

- Of course, we are worried about the war in Ukraine. Solidarity means compassion, support, help. We are in solidarity with the Ukrainian people – noted the participants.

The meetings highlighted the examples of women's solidarity. They remembered the history of March 8, women's movements in Georgia.

The meetings in the Women Support Centers of Tsalenjikha, Senaki, Terjola, Tkibuli and Khurcha (Zugdidi municipality) were attended by women of different ages and professions. Their position is as follows: we, women, especially feel the cruelty of war. We all want peace and express solidarity.

Women of the village Pakhulani (Tsalenjikha municipality) joined the action of solidarity.

They discussed the current issue, its importance and meaning in existing situation.

Why is solidarity important? - this term is gaining special power in today's reality.

This topic was discussed by the members of the youth and women initiative groups of the village Didinedzi (Zugdidi Municipality).

They also got acquainted with the history of the origin and recognition of International Women's Day, March 8.

Assistance to Ukrainian women from the Women Fund "Sukhumi" - this is written on all parcels sent to Ukraine. The women organization envisaged the list of needs released by the Ukrainian Embassy.

Women in war need specific assistance and that is why the parcels consisted of: food for children and newborns, medicines, hygiene items...

This is how the Women Fund "Sukhumi" expressed solidarity to Ukrainian women.

440 participants attended summarizing meetings from five municipalities (Samtredia, Tkibuli, Terjola, Vani, Zugdidi): members of the Youth Empowerment Center, their parents and teachers, school directors, representatives of the Youth Department and the Gender Equality Council of the Municipality.

It was a kind of report of the relationship with the Fund "Sukhumi" and six months of active work.

What was done? What did the students learn? How will thy use the knowledge in practice?

The young people answered these questions with presentations and showed their experience, acquired skills, new opportunities to the online audience.

- I overcame complexes, I became active, I learned a lot, I did it independently, I have changed - these words were heard in the speeches of young people.

The invited guests spoke about the positive impact and changes, they praised the work of the Fund "Sukhumi".

On March 15-16 Mrs. Lia Kaplan – Director of USAID Georgia Office for Democracy, Human Rights and Governance, Mrs. Tamar Sirbiladze - Rights and Resilience Team Leader, Mr. Giorgi Khechinashvili - Senior Advisor of Youth Programs visited the Fund “Sukhumi” office in Kutaisi. They talked with the executors of the project "Bridging the Gap - People to people Initiatives for Conflict Resolution", heard the information about the results of the work done and discussed future plans.

They also met with representatives of youth and women initiative groups in Tskaltubo and Senaki.

Participants talked about the important activities that are carried out within the project, about interesting meetings, experiences etc.

The meetings were held in an informal and pleasant environment.
