The first meeting of the mutual assistance group was held in Tskaltubo. The group was created within the framework of the project "Women Act for Peace and Strengthening the Local Community".
The meeting participants got acquainted with the activities and goals of the project, talked about the responsibilities and importance of the involvement of each member of the group.
The project activities will empower the women members of the group, their communities and will contribute to the implementation of the "Women, Peace and Security" agenda at the local level.

A mutual assistance group was created in Senaki, which included activists, women leaders and young people. The main responsibilities and duties of the group members were defined.
At the first information meeting, the participants were provided with information about the main goals, objectives and activities of the project "Women Act for Peace and Empowerment of Local Community".
The group participants will undergo a series of trainings that will increase their competence and professionalism.
The project will provide the participants with the opportunity to work on the needs of IDP communities. All activities are aimed at solving community problems and improving the socio-economic situation in IDP communities.

The first meeting of the project "Women Act for Peace and Strengthening the Local Community" was held in Poti. The mutual assistance group was officially formed. The meeting was attended by IDP women and girls, who will become the main beneficiaries and participants of the project in the future.
They received detailed information about the goals and objectives of the project, as well as the activities planned for the coming months. Particular attention was paid to the opportunities that the project offers to the group members: a series of trainings to develop their competencies and professional skills.
The main roles, duties and responsibilities of the group members have been defined, which will facilitate an organized and result-oriented work process. The participants will identify problems in the IDP communities; define priority issues and work to solve them through community initiatives.
In addition, the project aims to support and strengthen the capacity of the "Network of Women and Youth Peace Ambassadors".
Poti is a new municipal area of the project. This gives even more importance to increasing motivation and facilitating the creation of new spaces for dialogue and cooperation.

The Women's Congress of Georgia was founded in March. The idea came after the participation of the Women's Information Center in the Polish Women's Congress in 2024. The goal of the Congress is to strengthen the role of women in building democracy, promote their active participation and achieve gender equality.
The congress was attended by women from different fields and generations who are interested in actual issues: violence prevention, the fight against the anti-gender movement, promoting women's political participation, economic empowerment of women, gender policy, the implementation of the "Women, Peace and Security" agenda, etc. The congress in Georgia is supported by local and international partners. The Women's Congress was attended by women who actively cooperate with our organization.

An online meeting was held with members of Zugdidi women initiative group. The group members assessed the results achieved within the framework of the project, analyzed the existing challenges and outlined plans for the future. During the meeting, the participants noted that the project helped them become more active and self-confident, develop social skills and implement civic initiatives.
They spoke about advocacy that allowed local women to better identify their needs and actively work to solve them. According to the group members, such projects are necessary for the social integration of women and achieving greater authority in society.

Kutaisi Women Initiative Group held an online meeting to assess the results achieved within the project, analyze of existing challenges and plans for the future. The women who participated in the meeting noted that within the project they became more active, were able to develop social skills, engage in civic activities, and implement community initiatives.
Participants emphasized the important role of advocacy in solving local problems.
Four IDP settlements participated in the project, and community members received significant benefits. Members of the initiative group emphasized the importance of such projects for the empowerment of women and improvement of social integration.

An online meeting was held, with participation of members of the "Network of Women and Girls Peace Ambassadors" from Kutaisi, Khoni, Tskaltubo, Senaki and Zugdidi municipalities.
The meeting summarized the results of the project, and the participants heard an analysis of the current situation in terms of advocacy for problems in individual municipalities.
The leaders of the network voiced the priority problems of their communities. They worked on their identification worked with the group members.
The network participants spoke about the importance of the network, the empowerment of each participant and the implementation of civil initiatives. They also noted how important it is for them to be able to voice local problems at the international level, in particular on the platform of the UN Open Day. The meeting of Khoni IDP Women's Network was held online. Network members discussed topics selected for advocacy.
The existence of a pharmacy and a supermarket is important for the IDP settlement, since the settlement is far from the center and there is no internal transport. This is a problem for women both from a financial point of view and in terms of time. In order to emphasize the urgency of the problem, it is planned to prepare and sign a petition for submission to the relevant authorities.

Members of Zugdidi Women Initiative Group actively continue to work on the issues selected for advocacy.
They plan to install outdoor lighting and internal roads In Ingiri community and also to expand the existing mini-attraction. With this aim, active women met with the Mayor's representative and received promises of support.
In frames of the project, women and girls improved their skills, learned to find evidence based ways of advocacy, and raised awareness about the necessity of reducing risks.
