On February 11, the ordinary meeting of partners was held in the office of the Fund “Sukhumi”. During the meeting the active discussion took place regarding the implementation of PAR monitoring in the target municipalities of the project. They also talked about the issues related to the upcoming training for members of the Common Forum for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) regarding the assessment of needs.

The mayor of Terjola signed a Memorandum which will be the basis of active cooperation between the City Hall of the municipality and the Fund "Sukhumi". The signing of Memorandum took place in Imereti Regional Administration.

A Memorandum was signed between the Fund “Sukhumi” and Terjola Sakrebulo with the aim of mutual cooperation. The monitoring questionnaire was discussed during the meeting. The apparatus of Sakrebulo is ready to actively engage in work.
Meetings were also held in NGOs - the Union for the Protection of Children's Rights and Civic Education "Children - the Future of Georgia" and the Association of Persons with Disabilities. Their leaders express their readiness to participate in the monitoring and its fruitful implementation.

The project “Online Vote-O-Meter for 2020 Georgian Parliamentary Elections”, supported by Visegrad International Fund is ongoing.
The Georgian experts have finished to prepare the policy documents. One of the Policy documents analyses importance of political and public trust for stable development of Democracy in Georgia. The second policy document discusses the possible models of electoral systems for 2020 parliamentary elections proposed by the main political parties in Georgia.

Experts from Slovakia, Poland and the Czech Republic have completed the work on policy documents, where they share the experiences of their countries on the formation and development of election system and involvement of citizens in the process.
The work is carried out in the framework of the project “Online Vote-O-Meter for 2020 Georgian Parliamentary Elections” with the support of the Visegrad International Foundation.

A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the City Hall, Sakrebulo of the Vani municipality and Cultural-humanitarian Fund “Sukhumi”. The aim of the agreement is to increase the effectiveness of cooperation between the non-governmental sector and local government in order to promote the development of democratic principles of civil society and gender justice.
A working meeting was also held with civil society organizations, working in Vani municipality: the iInitiative Group - “Assistance” and “ Activity of Citizen for Effective Governance and Justice”. The information received at the training was reviewed, according to which the groups will conduct monitoring.

On January 23, a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Fund “Sukhumi” and Khoni City Hall was signed with the aim of active work within the framework of the project “A common forum for CSOs from Guria, Imereti and Racha-Lechkhumi for PAR Roadmap monitoring”
A working meeting was also held with members of civil society organizations (Women's Initiative Group and IDP Initiative Group), which will directly work for implementation of monitoring.

The meeting, organized in Bagdati Municipality, was attended by members of civil society organizations (CSOs) included in the project. During the meeting, there was discussed a memorandum which should be signed between the organizations and the Fund “Sukhumi”. They also discussed the information received at the training (topic: “Public Administration Reform (PAR) Roadmap and implementation of the PAR roadmap monitoring at municipal level”), according to which the groups begin monitoring process in their municipalities.

The second meeting of a common forum for CSOs was held on January 17, in the frameworks of the project “A common forum for CSOs from Guria, Imereti and Racha-Lechkhumi for PAR Roadmap monitoring”.
The forum member CSOs discussed and adopted the Regulations of a Common forum. Representatives of the CSOs from Lanchkhuti and Ozurgeti municipalities made presentations on the current situation of the public administration in their municipalities.
The meeting participants had the opportunity to ask questions and share their opinions.

On January 14, a regular meeting of the partner organizations was held in the office of Fund “Sukhumi” within the framework of the project “A common forum for CSOs from Guria, Imereti and Racha-Lechkhumi for PAR Roadmap monitoring”, funded by the European Union.
The project implementers discussed the forthcoming CSO Forum meeting and a training on PAR monitoring.
