A coordination meeting was held in Zugdidi Sakrebulo conference hall. The meeting was attended by representatives of the regional administration of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti and 7 municipalities of the region, members of the Gender Equality Councils, chairpersons of social and health services. The meeting participants spoke about the work of the municipal Gender Equality Councils and the importance of coordination of this work from the side of the regional administration, also - on providing the necessary information to relevant national structures.
The main issue was identified - the importance of introducing municipal gender policy by the Gender Equality Councils and the need to work to prevent violence against women / domestic violence and protect the victim.
In December, a psychologist of the Fund “Sukhumi” held group meetings in the regions.
In kindergartens of Ozurgeti and Lanchkhuti there was held a conversation on the topic: "Features of psychological education of children under the age of 7”. Problem children have been identified, methodologists and teachers will continue to work with a local psychologist.
After a group art session in two kindergartens of Poti, there were identified 13 children at risk of domestic violence, children with low self-esteem and aggression. Children's drawings were given to a psychologist for the further work.
Four individual psychological consultations were held in Senaki and Khoni, and 10 beneficiaries continue to receive psychological consultation in Kutaisi.
A working meeting was held in Vani Municipality in frames of the project “A common forum for CSOs from Guria, Imereti and Racha-Lechkhumi for PAR Roadmap monitoring”. A representative of the Fund “Sukhumi” met with civil society organizations – an initiative group “Assistance” and “Citizens' activity for effective governance and justice”. The information obtained as a result of the training, as well as the provision, developed for the general forum was reviewed. Organizations received consultations on activities planned under the project.

On December 17, Fund of Women Entrepreneurs organized a meeting with the representatives of local partner civil society organizations: “Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Self-Government Resource Center” and “Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo-Svaneti Hub - Abkhazinterkonti (AIC) in Ambrolauri Municipality. The meeting was focused on the knowledge gained from the training, monitoring mechanisms, memorandum of cooperation, as well as consultations were given about the future planned activities within the project.
The meetings were held within the project “A common forum for CSOs from Guria, Imereti and Racha-Lechkhumi for PAR Roadmap monitoring”. The project has been implemented in partnership with Cultural-Humanitarian Fund "Sukhumi", "Fund of Women Entrepreneurs" and Imereti Scientists' Union "Spectri". The role of the regional administration in coordinating the work of municipal gender equality councils, collecting information on the challenges facing the councils and the importance of providing this information to relevant national structures - these issues were discussed during a coordination meeting, which took place in the meeting room of Ozurgeti Sakrebulo in cooperation with the regional administration of Guria. Representatives of state structures of three municipalities (Ozurgeti, Lanchkhuti, Chokhatauri) took part in the work.
The meeting discussed the activities of the Gender Equality Councils in terms of introducing municipal gender policies (including the prevention of violence against women /domestic violence) and the tasks for future cooperation were outlined.
The initiative group “Equality Now” and the Union of Persons with Disabilities “Faith and Hope” - a meeting with participation of these CSOs was held in Bagdati municipality.
Participants spoke about the information, received during the training held last month and the practical usage of this information. The meeting also discussed the situation, which should be approved at the next meeting.

В Тержольском муниципалитете прошли встречи с организациями гражданского общества: Ассоциация инвалидов и Союз защиты прав детей и гражданского воспитания «Дети – будущее Грузии».
Обе встречи были плодотворными, т.к. разговор коснулся будущих планов, рабочих групп - участников мониторинга, меморандума. Хорошую оценку получил тренинг, проведенный в ноябре для представителей организаций гражданского общества: «Тренинг был интересным, динамичным, совершенным, все информации являются нужными и практическими».
В ближайшее время запланирована встреча с мэром Тержолы – с целью ознакомления проекта.

On December 11, a monthly meeting was organized by the “Fund of Women Entrepreneurs” within the framework of the project “Guria, Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi General Forum of Civil Society Organizations for Roadmap Monitoring (PAR)” in Tsageri municipality. The meeting was held with the partner organizations "Center for Women's Rights and Gender Equality" and “Active Citizen-Accountable Authority”. Received information during the trainings, as well as draft regulations and memorandum of understanding, were the issues discussed at the meeting. The organizations were given the consultations in frames of the project.

Coordination meeting with participation of representatives from regional administration, various services of the City Halls of 12 municipalities of Imereti and members of the Gender Advisory Councils was held in regional administration of Imereti.
The meeting discussed the work of the Gender Equality Councils of the municipality for introduction of gender policy, prevention of violence against women/domestic violence and protection to the victim. Representatives of the municipalities spoke about achievements and challenges. Particular attention was paid to the role of the regional administration in coordinating activities of the Gender Councils. It was noted that the administration of the state attorney should become a bridge that will ensure active communication between local and central authorities, as well as facilitate meetings of municipal Gender Councils and the exchange of information between them.
A meeting with participation of civil society organizations - Khoni Women’s Club and Khoni IDP Initiative Group, was held in Khoni municipality
The participants heard feedback from a November training. They noted that they learned a lot during the training on the topic: Public Administration Reform (PAR) roadmap and citizens’ involvement in PAR roadmap monitoring.
During the meeting there was held a discussion about a regulation that should be adopted at the next meeting. Working groups, memorandums and future plans were discussed.
