Forum – theatre in Batumi

The forum-theatre conducted performances in scholl No2 of Batumi. Number of viewers exceeded 50 persons. Representatives of 6 schools gathered there. In these schools the forum-theatre of the fund “Sukhumi” promotes to formation of the forum-theatre.
Interesting discussion was held with active inclusion in the scenes. The story of violence was showed 5 times, then there was a casting and 5 actors per schools were chosen. Now master-classes are planned for the actor-beginners.

Forum-theatre in Khoni

6 performances were shown by the forum-theatre of the fund “Sukhumi” in Khoni.
Among the audience there were young people and elderly, who took part in the discussion. They liked the scenes, but refused to change the situation – to play the role of victim.
During the performance someone passing by began to shout, but the director explained that it was a play and not reality. Similar facts happen often, when the forum-theatre stages its performances in the street.

Forum Theatre in Koki

A forum-theater for students and teachers was held in Koki - the relationship of mothers and children, the scene of domestic violence. Performances were followed by an interesting discussion. Young people were particularly active. Strict debate was provoked by a scene of jealousy, as this is a major problem for many people.
Teachers expressed a desire to show such scenes to the residents of villages.
In conclusion, the forum theater actor Alexander Lomtadze dedicated a poem to the teachers.

Forum-theatre in Senaki

Performance of fund “Sukhumi” forum-theatre was held in Senaki, public school No 7 of Abkhazian Autonomous Republic. 7 scenes were shown with participation of 4 actors of reserve group from forum-theatre.
Among the audience there were 30 pupils and 3 teachers.
The scene of domestic violence caused active discussion, but the pupils hesitated from involving in the performance, in order to change the paly.
They made parallels with the forum-theatre, created several years ago by the activist of the fund “Sukhumi” – Mari Kvanchiani, they remembered interesting details.

Active discussion in the park of Kutaisi

The performances of the forum-theatre in the central park of Kutaisi were attended mostly by men.
The first scene on the issue of domestic violence was followed by discussion. Some of the viewers had aggression that everything is spoken openly nowadays, that young people divorce easily and the life of a woman is a subject of discussion.
The actors of the forum-theatre presented 6 scenes. In the process of changing scenes the audience was not involved, but active discussion was held regarding a problem of domestic violence.
