Psychological group and individual meetings were held in the Women Support Centers of Kutaisi, Khurch, Senaki, attended by 36 women at the age of 25-65. The main topic of these meetings were: overcoming and control of negative emotions and stress factors, which is one of the main preventive measures of domestic violence – in order to give the IDP women possibility to create conditions for controlling negative emotions and develop awareness, impact and change negative emotions, with the help of breath examinations and meditation.

From 15 to 28 of December there were held 5 psychological group meetings in Kutaisi, attended by 42 women. Main topic of the meeting was building warm family microclimate. Individual consultations were held regarding the problems of low self-assessment. There was held conversation regarding family responsibility, about a fact that family life looks like traveling and it is impossible to travel without having the aim. The aim should be high and important, in order to follow it for whole life.

Meetings with the lawyer in Kutaisi

8 informational legal group meetings were held in Kutaisi, cc of IDPs, with participation of 67 women.
Meetings were held from November 30 to December 14. 7 out of the, in frames of campaign of “16 active days against gender vilation”.
During the meetings, the women together with the lawyer ofteh fund “Sukhumi” discussed the law against domestic violence and new changes in it.

8 meetings with psychologist in Kutaisi

From November 30 to December 14 8 psychological group meetings were held in compactly resided places aged 19-27.
7 meetings were held in days of international campaign against violence towards the women. The main issue of conversation was: “” we build family without violence. Conversation touched warm family microclimate and responsibility of parents.
Also 3 individual consultations were held regarding the issues of crisis in family relations.

Group and individual meetings of the psychologist in Poti, Tskaltubo and Khoni

On December 2, 3, 8 consultations of the psychologist were held in WSCs of Poti, Tskaltubo and Khoni.
The topics group meetings in Poti and Tskaltubo was “Gender equality – Georgian woman”.
At the end of the meeting there were held discussions, how should the abstract stereotypes change and awareness of the women raised in gender issues.
In Khoni there were held individual meetings with young woman and her son for the work with post-trauma syndrome.
