In frames of a 16-day international campaign, the Women Fund “Sukhumi” delivered a group of doctors to the IDP settlements of Zugdidi (on Lagidze and Baramia streets). Free consultations were provided to women by a therapist, gynecologist and mammologist. Women living in villages along the conflict dividing line also took part in the activity.
Information leaflets, calendars and brochures “Prevention of Domestic Violence” were distributed to the participants. They attentively listened to the advice of doctors that they need to take care of themselves, that hiding the facts of violence negatively affects the health and psychological condition of women.
It was nice to hear feedback from women who participated in the action:
“A very necessary event, thanks to the organizers.”
“I came for prevention and received more services than I expected.”
“If I came to Kutaisi, I would spent a lot of money, but here is an assistance completely free of charge”.

In frames of the 16-day campaign against gender-based violence, medical campaign was held in Khoni IDP village. Doctors explained that living in a violent environment causes health problems. The importance of taking care of reproductive health was especially emphasized.
In frames of the campaign, women were provided with free consultations with a family doctor, mammologist, gynecologist and screening. They noted that they do not have the opportunity to timely pay attention to their health.
The medical action once again showed the need to introduce reproductive culture. Representatives of local government took part in the mobilization of women.
The Women Fund “Sukhumi” continues medical campaigns for women. Women's Health Center “Hera” conducts cancer screening as part of the state program. Free screenings include: breast cancer screening for women aged 40–70 and mammograms.
This time the action was held in Tsalenjikha. The women received free medical consultations and screening.
Deputy Mayor of Tsalenjikha Municipality Tamar Belkania observed the progress of the medical action and expressed gratitude for such a useful event.

The Forum theater actively participated in the campaign of “16 active days against gender-based violence ”.
Forum theater performances were held in Tskaltubo, and mini-scenes with various forms of violence were shown. The audience actively participated in the performance - the actors were replaced by audience members. The discussion was also interesting.
It is necessary to raise public awareness in order to contribute to the prevention of violence - this was the main message of the forum theater.

Women’s mutual assistance groups actively cooperate with local governments, and in all ten municipalities they have already started to advocate the problems of group members.
Women face a number of problems; especially these are the violence victim women. Group members feel strong support from the social agency, the City Hall and the City Council. This helps in advocacy and problem solution.
In November, project assistant Nino Chabukiani conducted offline and online meetings, and some of them were conducted by group leaders.
Three-month courses of digital literacy were held in Terjola, Bagdati and Kobuleti. The group members learned a lot of useful things from the trainer Kristi Kutateladze. In order to actively use theoretical knowledge in practice, several women (who did not have phones) were given mobile phones. According to them, this is serious support.
