Meetings - in this category there is an information about meetings in frames of Fund “Sukhumi” projects - meetings with beneficiaries, representatives of state structures, local and international non-governmental organizations.

The members of the Women's Initiative Group of Khoni evaluated and analyzed the work for six months.
- Monthly meetings with various groups of society, cooperation with local authorities, advocacy of problems - the participants assessed the activities carried out in these areas.
According to the members of the group, the circulation of citizens has grown, which with the help of an initiative group are trying to solve individual or collective problems. It was stressed that behind each solved problem is the local government, with the support of which the interests of local communities of society were taken into account.

In Kutaisi Training Center of Tbilisi State University, within the framework of the project "Studying the experience of the Visegrad to advocate for equal, inclusive and democratic governance at the local level", a meeting was held with young people. At the meeting, interesting discussions took place on issues of gender policy, civic engagement. There were obvious positions on various issues - how young people see the way of life and prospects for the well-being of citizens of their own city, especially for young people. How much they are ready to take part in the implementation of changes - necessary in their opinion,.

From May 19 to May 26, project participants from 4 countries (Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia and the North Caucasus) met in Kiev to study the experience of NGOs in Ukraine on issues of working with IIDPs from conflict areas. A total of 16 key participants took part in the trip, 4 coordinators and project director from Germany.
During the trip the participants had an opportunity to get acquainted with the work of 11 organizations of Ukraine. The meetings were organized at a high level both in the working and cultural-educational part. They harmoniously complemented each other.
Integration, resettlement, payment of benefits and compensation, programs for building peace and restoring confidence are the main issues that were discussed at the meetings.
This educational trip showed the need for cooperation not only on the ground, but also between countries that have similar problems and interests.
Thanks to this program, participants learned that questions of peace and the restoration of trust are one of the main tasks in the solution of which civil society must take an active part.

Mobilizers and activists of the Women Support Centers of Kutaisi, Tskaltubo, Khoni, Senaki, Poti and Zugdidi met the representatives of local government during a month. Information meetings were held: in Kutaisi - with the head of the Infrastructure Affairs Service, in Tskaltubo - with the lawyer and social worker of the Social Service, in Khoni with the chairman of the Social Commission of Sakrebulo, in Poti with the head of the Social, Health and Gender Service, In Senaki - with the village attorneys. A special meeting was held in Zugdidi - mobilizers of the Women Support Center and representatives of the Community Union met with the head (Governor) of the municipality.
All meetings were important in their essence and results.

Women initiative groups of Kutaisi, Tskaltubo and Khoni in May worked with special intensity. The work plan provided expanding cooperation with local authorities and informing the public about the work of the initiative groups.
In three cities, information meetings were held with the involvement of representatives of various local government services. There was a precedent when the authorities immediately started active work to resolve the problems. Citizens were given the opportunity to talk on topical issues.
Women initiative groups will actively continue to work in cooperation with local authorities - with the aim of advocating problems.

As always, mobilizers of the Women Support Centers of the fund “Sukhumi” in May conducted 33 information and mobilization meetings in the municipalities of Kutaisi, Tskaltubo, Khoni, Senaki, Poti and Zugdidi.
Together with various topical issues, the participants got acquainted with the reports of the meetings held as part of monitoring of the law "On the suppression of domestic violence, the protection of victims of domestic violence and their assistance." They also discussed infrastructure issues.

An interesting meeting was organized by Kutaisi Women Initiative Group in the library No. 17. The meeting aimed to cooperate with local authorities to advocate problems.
The head of the Infrastructure Development Service Vladimir Nakashidze and the chief specialist of this Service Levan Batiashvili were invited to the meeting.
The discussion was very active. The participants raised various problems, listened to competent information and got acquainted with the infrastructure programs that are implemented by the local authorities.

On May 23, a meeting organized by the Women's Initiative Group was held in the office of Tskaltub Municipality, attended by representatives of various collective centers, activists of the fund “Sukhumi”.
The chief specialist of the Health and Social Protection Service, Nargiza Abesbadze, was invited to the meeting and spoke about local social programs.
Participants were asked questions about how the programs are planned in the budget, which ones are priority, how information about these programs is spread.
It was noted that it is planned to hold similar information meetings in the coming months, as this will increase the level of communication between the population and local authorities.

Recently, the reform of the IDP allowances became the subject of discussion. To this topic was devoted a focus group held on May 17 with IDP women residing in Khoni. The participants expressed their attitude to the reform. They noted that the reforms should promote greater support and development of the IDPs, improve their socio-economic conditions, and not vice versa.
The meeting was held within the framework of the PIN project: «Involvement of NGOs working on issues of social protection, in the strategic dialogue in Georgia" - funded by the European Union and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.

The meeting of the Women's Initiative Group took place in the main library of Khoni. Representatives of different spectrum of society attended the meeting. Representatives of the Board of Khoni Municipality were invited to the meeting: the head of the infrastructure department Makvala yui96htadze and the head of the social service Leila Kintsurashvili.
Participants listened to information about what programs exist in the municipality, what works were done and what is planned.
The meeting with representatives of local self-government aimed to inform the population.
