Publications are the own editions of the Fund "Sukhumi": newspapers, magazines, methodical guide, brochures, analytical materials. The site contains all publications of the organization.

In frames of the project “Strengthening of medical staff for the protection of violence victims”, the Fund “Sukhumi” began active cooperation with medical staff.

A publication “The role of medical staff in violence prevention”, which will help medical workers to respond accordingly in case of violence against women / domestic violence was published in frames of the project.

In frames of the joint project of Senaki Municipality Gender Council and the Fund "Sukhumi" - "Cooperation with local government - for gender equality and prevention of domestic violence", a survey in 14 communities of Senaki Municipality was held with the aim of analyzing the situation regarding violence against women.

After that the “Situational analysis of the problem of violence against women / domestic violence in Senaki municipality” was published.

Over the years, Fund “Sukhumi” has been actively working with local authorities to introduce the principles of gender equality. Various documents, manuals and methodical guidance were developed and issued.

This time the draft Gender Equality Action Plan of the municipality has been developed. It is an example, a model based on which the Action Plan can be elaborated taking into account the needs of local groups.

The Action Plan for the implementation of gender policy will contribute to the fair distribution of budgetary resources, the full inclusion of women and men in local processes.

“Gender mainstreaming in municipalities – strategic guidance for local self-government – is the title of a new publication of Fund “Sukhumi”. It includes experts’ opinions and recommendations, collected from experiences of Georgia, including Abkhazia and Visegrad countries (Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia).

The guidance is a methodical manual which will held local self-governments in incorporation of gender oriented policy. It includes the list of issues that are important for gender mainstreaming at local level.

The publication was developed within the framework of the project "Learning from the experience of Visegrad 4 to advocate for equal, inclusive and democratic local governance".

One more important publication of the fund “Sukhumi” on actual issue: “Gender Mainstreaming in Local Self-Government”. It is a collection of the works of the experts from different countries, which aims at promoting gender policy in local government envisaging the experience of Visegrad countries and Georgia.

The researches were carried out in frames of the project “Learning from Visegrad 4 experience to advocate for equal, inclusive and democratic local governance”.

For a whole year (15.01.2017-15.01.2018) Fund Sukhumi has been involved in the project “Development of women’s opportunities for elaboration of new approaches in conflict transformation”.

The organization has carried out project activities throughout West Georgia. Trainings with women and youth groups were organized within the project framework. Some of the project participants wrote essays, girls conducted workshops for their peers. A study was carried out and the brochure “Georgian-Abkhazian Conflict, Rethinking Approaches to Conflict Resolution and New Directions for its Transformation” was published in Georgian, Russian and English. This was followed by round-table discussions of the results of the study. At the final stage of the project a meeting was organized in Cyprus and the project presentation took place in Tbilisi. A film on the project was produced and released.

The journal reflects all project activities.

The report of the Fund "Sukhumi" - "Voice of Women" was published. The first part summarizes the successfully implemented three-year project "Strengthening of Women’s Rights in Women in Western Georgia". In the second part of the magazine, monthly internet publications are collected - an information bulletin in which topical issues discussed at various meetings of the fund “Sukhumi” and specific cases were discussed. The report of our work is presented in the form if this stories.

"The importance of advisory work for the prevention of violence" is the topic of bulletin №11.

In the activity of the Fund "Sukhumi" a special place is occupied by information and consulting activities. In this regard, it is difficult to overestimate the contribution of a psychologist and a lawyer. The bulletin contains examples from the cases of the psychologist and lawyers and gives some advice.

How to work with youth groups to resolve conflicts - this is the name given to the manual issued by the fund “Sukhumi” for young trainers.

The manual was created within the framework of the project "Promoting non-violent conflict resolution among young people through training in western Georgia" for young people who received a training course in conflictology. The collection included 4 topics on which young people from 8 municipalities of Western Georgia (Kutaisi, Khoni, Tskaltubo, Senaki, Poti, Zugdidi, Ozurgeti, Batumi) worked: forms, types and analysis of the conflict, methods of conflict resolution; the role of information in conflict resolution, gender and gender aspects of conflict resolution, the influence of masculinity on conflict. The publication also provides information useful for trainers: the structure of the training and training skills.
