Quantitative research was started in the target municipalities within the framework of the project "Bridging the gaps: People-to-People Initiatives for Conflict Resolution", in frames of which the members of the women initiative group of the village Pakhulani the Tsalenjikha municipality were involved. The topic of the research is "Assessment of the quality of human security and gender needs of the population".

The youth initiative group of the village Koki - Zugdidi municipality created a forum-theater. The news was implemented within the framework of the USAID project "Bridging the gaps: People-to-People Initiatives for Conflict Resolution". According to the assessment of the group members, the forum-theater will implement its function and provide information to the public. The forum-theatre is a method of interactive work between different layers of society, which aims to solve social problems and provide information. Work of the Women's Network in Tskaltubo

Tskaltubo women's network actively continues to work on solving the problems raised in the IDP settlements during the research process.

Network leaders work closely with local government. Most of the problems advocated by them have already been resolved by the relevant departments.

As for the implementation of the action plan of 1325 UN Resolution at the local level, the Gender Equality Council of Tskaltubo municipality is one of the leaders in this direction - it envisages and implements important standards in terms of women, peace and security.

On January 17, a meeting with Kutaisi Women Initiative Group was held. The topic of the meeting was: studying the quality of human security, envisaging gender needs. The participants got acquainted with the information about the quantitative research. Questionnaires were also distributed among the group members. The meeting was also held at School No. 6 named after Zhiuli Shartava. The members of Kutaisi Youth Club discussed the six-month action plan and outlined the ideas to be implemented. The meeting was traditionally held with fun activities and team exercises. Several new members joined Kutaisi youth club, who positively evaluated the club activities.

Studying the quality of human security envisaging gender needs - the members of Tskaltubo Women Initiative Group will conduct research on these issues. Data collection is already underway. 150 beneficiaries interviewed in Tskaltubo municipality will be able to determine their position with the help of an online questionnaire. Group members have appropriate skills, which is a guarantee of successful completion of the process. An active and interesting process is going on in youth groups as well. Within the project a forum-theater was formed n the public schools No 1 and No 4 of Tskaltubo. With the help of a master class conducted by a professional actor, the group members have already staged the first performances. The mentioned format will help to initiate public discussions on current topics.

An informational meeting was held with both Women Initiative Groups of Khoni. The participants got acquainted with information about the human security component and quantitative research. Questionnaires were also distributed. Another meeting was held with the members of Khoni youth group. The participants heard information about the components of human security, the topic was very interesting for young people. During the meeting, it was revealed that environmental issues, the number of immigrants, health issues, low quality of education, fear of job loss, unemployment and increased aggression in society are the issues that concern the young people.

Since January, the members of the initiative group have been involved in the research process, which aims to assess the quality of human security from a gender perspective. At the first stage, 150 people will be interviewed through online questionnaires. During the meeting with the group members in Senaki, the participants heard information about the components of human security, learned about the main goals and objectives of the research, as well as the technical aspects of conducting the survey. The received information will help to conduct the survey process successfully. Along with the women's group, members of the youth group also participate in the survey process.

A training with the members of the women initiative group of the village Koki - Zugdidi municipality, was held on the topic: "Women and youth in peace movement, promoting the implementation of UN resolutions 1325 and 2250". The participants talked about the importance of women's role in peacekeeping activities.

The second part of the training was devoted to the discussion of Resolution 1325. The members of the group worked on the main activities that will contribute to the implementation of Resolution 1325 at the municipal level.

During the meeting with Senaki women initiative group members, the participants viewed a film about domestic violence and coducted a discussion. The participants discussed the facts of femicide and spoke about the need to break stereotypes. At the initiative of the women group members, three information meetings were held with different groups.

Members of Senaki youth group were actively involved in the campaign against violence. The participants talked about the importance of involving young people in violence prevention. It was noted that it is necessary to provide the society with more information about the existing mechanisms for the assistance of violence victims. It is also important to increase the involvement of young people in prevention process.
