In February psychological consultations were held on different topics, according the interests of groups. In WSCs of Senaki and Khurcha (Zugdidi municipality) the conversation touched the topic: “how to better understand yourself and others”.

This topical question brought together different points of communication: how to listen to yourself, to your emotions, the feelings of others, how to control your thoughts. All this is the way the prevention of conflict and violence in the family and society.

The meeting was held in Kutaisi School №15 with high school students, and, logically, the conversation touched the topic of early marriage and its negative consequences.

The consultations were held in an interactive mode. Participants were interested in different problems, questioned the psychologist, to open a discussion and took the important tips that will be useful to them in everyday life

In Kutaisi meeting with the psychologist was held in the Day center for people with disabilities - "Valentin" and the other two meetings - in Senaki Women's Support Centers and Khurcha (Zugdidi Municipality).

The topic of conversation was - Gender features of age psychology as prevention of domestic violence.

"It is important to understand and accept the fact that the major gender differences that exist between men and women are real and permanent. You can learn how to use the difference to improve your relationship, "- said the psychologist.

In compact resettlement of IDPs in Kutaisi on July 9, group psychological consultation meetings and 6 individual consultations were held. totally there were 47 beneficiaries. The main topic of psychological group meetings was the conversation about family happiness, factors of well-being, the fact that a happy family is not destiny and not luck, but a constant, deep, inner work of two loving people.

Within the framework of the project "Strengthening Women's Rights in Western Georgia", regular legal information and consultation meetings were held in all six Women Support Centers of the Fund "Sukhumi". Those who gathered in Kutaisi, Khoni, Khurcha (Zugdidi municipality), Senaki, Tskaltubo and Poti, raised questions of interest to them and received competent answers.

Individual consultations were held at the meetings, a woman of a risk group was identified.

In December in the WSC of Tskaltubo and Poti, also in the village Gocha-Jikhaishi of Khoni Municipality there were held consultations of psychologist. In Tskaltubo there were held individual consultations with the young people. In Khoni and Poti the meetings were held according the planned topic: how to realize the psychological press and violence, not to become victims of violence - for the prevention of domestic violence. Women got the skills and knowledge that will contribute to their approval in the family and society.

Gender aspects of infrastructure projects were discussed at the Club of Voter Women of Khoni. Invited guest - the head of the infrastructure service of the Gamgeoba (administration) of Khoni municipality, Ilia Kuparadze, acquainted the audience with the projects planned for this year: asphalting of internal roads, rehabilitation of the museum, the opening of the exhibition hall of the Art School, repair of the facade of multi-storey buildings ... The representative of Gamgeoba answered the questions of the members of the Club and promised them that he would introduce them to the progress of the work.
