On November 11 there was held ordinary meeting of Zugdidi club of Women Voters. Club members reviewed the results of the second round of parliamentary elections, also planned activities for the 16 day campaign against violence towards women.
During the meeting there was discussed the problems existing in the city and the most prior issues were identified for advocacy.

Meeting of the Club of Voter Women was held in Senaki Women's Support Centre of Fund "Sukhumi". The main topic of discussion was the local budget for 2017, in particular - operating social programs. Detailed information was provided by chief specialist of Gamgeoba of Health and Social Protection Khatuna Lashkhia.
The meeting also discussed the issues of advocacy, with regards to the provision of assistance to families with children with disabilities.
The next meeting will be held with the participation of the beneficiaries of Senaki Community Education Center.
On February 14 in the conference hall of Khoni Sakrebulo there was held an ordinary meeting of the club of voter women, which discussed the memorandum for political parties and elaborated recommendation. They also spoke about local problems, which they try to advocate in cooperation with local governmental structures.
The same day there was held a meeting with representatives of Sakrebulo – Valeri yui96htadze regarding creation of Gender Advisory Council at local level. It was mentioned that the consultations are held for the given moment and the council will be formed in near future.

On March 14, the Kutaisi Club of Voter Women held a regular meeting. Nato Katamadze was invited to the meeting.
Women's Day of Solidarity, the formula for the success of women leaders, discussion on topical issues, advocacy of local problems and development of recommendations – this was the agenda of the day.

Norms of ethics and aesthetics and sexual education – to these issues were given special attention at the informational meetings of the Youth Clubs.
At school # 1 of Tskhaltubo, the participants immediately actively joined. According to them, the discussion of these issues is important for the prevention of violence.
The Fund "Sukhumi" held meetings for the first time in the library of Khoni and in the village of Ganmukhuri (Zugdidi municipality). The participants learned about the work of the Youth Clubs and expressed their desire to join. We talked about the norms of ethics and aesthetics. About that, on what it is necessary to make an accent and about what deficiency is found out in the younger generation.
The Club of Voter Women was attended by the main specialist of social service of Ozurgeti City Hall, who spoke about a new program, in 2017 budget. This is the assistance for those, who are not in the criteria, envisaged in the social program, but need a support. The program includes the assistance of the women – victims of violence. Number of questions were raised regarding this issue. The club members decided to spread information about a new program and find necessary beneficiaries.
The members of Kutaisi Club of Voter Women received information about the situation regarding creation of Gender Equality Councils of the contiguous Sakrebulo. They got acquainted with the issues related to the adoption of legislative regulation of gender quotas.
The meeting participants took care of solving local topical issues and also talked about the organizational issues of the network conference.

On June 8 and 9 in Ureki there was held network meeting of the members of Club of Voter Women and journalists.
Several sessions of the meeting were held in interesting format: - presentation of the work of Fund “Sukhumi” on formation of local gender policy, experience of the club of Kutaisi, Senaki, Ozurgeti, Batumi, khobi, Zugdidi, Tskaltubo, Khoni, role of media, gender legislation and practice, elaboration of strategy.
At the end of meeting, by the active involvement of each participant, there were formatted main directions of the club work and concrete activities were planned.
In April, with the help of a specially developed open questionnaire, a study was conducted in the Youth Clubs of Kutaisi, Tskaltubo, Khoni, Senaki, Poti, Koki (Zugdidi Municipality). The number of respondents was 90 people. The purpose of the study is to see the positive results of the work.
The focus group survey showed the effective work of clubs and their influence not only on club members and activists, but also on their families and peers.
