Meetings - in this category there is an information about meetings in frames of Fund “Sukhumi” projects - meetings with beneficiaries, representatives of state structures, local and international non-governmental organizations.

In March 33 mobilization meetings were held in 5 cities (Kutaisi, Khoni, Tskaltubo, Poti and Senaki) and in the villages of Zugdidi Municipallity – Khurcha and Koki.
The topic of the meeting was a week of women solidarity. The meeting underlined the problems of women, mainly their small amount in politics, in the process of decision making. Meeting participants spoke also about frequent facts of famicid.
It was mentioned that respect to woman should be expressed during whole year – respecting their rights, political strengthening and activation.


The spring in society is associated with women celebrations. Women Support Centers of Kutaisi, Khoni, Tskaltubo, Senaki, Poti, khurcha/koki (Zugdidi municipality), traditionally conducted a weekly of women solidarity. 33 mobilization meetings and 6 round tables with participation of representatives of local government.
During these meetings there was a conversation about women movement, successful women, Georgian roots of gender equality, family traditions. It was underlined the importance of women political activism in Georgia.


In frames of 16 day campaign, the women support centers conducted mobilization meetings envisaged according the plan in the municipalities of Kutaisi, Poti, Tskaltubo, Senaki, khoni and Zugdidi. 297 beneficiaries were attracted to 33 mobilization meetings in the cities and villages by the mobilizers. They gave them information about a campaign and the activities of the fund for violence prevention.



In June, two important days are celebrated - International Children's Day and International Day of IDPs and Refugees.
The mobilizers of the Women Support Centers of the Fund "Sukhumi", devoted the meetings in cities and villages to these dates, with different beneficiaries. They talked about problems and outlined ways of their advocacy.
During the month, 33 mobilization meetings were held in the municipalities of Kutaisi, Tskaltubo, Khoni, Senaki, Poti and Zugdidi.

In February, during the mobilization meetings there was discussion about a document of reform regarding IDP allowance, which is still in process of discussion.
The meetings were held in Kutaisi, Khoni, Tskaltubo, Senaki, Poti and Zugdidi.
According to IDPs, it is necessary to discuss the types of reform and define concrete steps. During discussions on actual issues, there were mentioned the needs of IDPs and suggestions, which were familiarized to representatives of the Ministry of IDPs and resettlement by the fund “Sukhumi” during the informational meetings in Kutaisi and Tbilisi.

Monthly mobilization meetings were held by mobilizers of the Women's Support Centers of the Fund "Sukhumi".
The subject of the meetings was advocacy and its methods. During the meetings the participants were also familiarized with the reports of the Monitoring Group of the Fund "Sukhumi".
During the month, 33 meetings were held in the municipalities of Kutaisi, Tskaltubo, Khoni, Senaki, Poti and Zugdidi (Koki and Khurcha villages).

After New Year days, mobilizers of the Women Support Centers conducted 33 mobilization meetings in towns and villages with the IDPs and local population.
The meetings discussed changes in law against violence, under which it is foreseen to raise the role of local self-government in terms of prevention of domestic violence.

In May the work of Women Support Centers was busy as usual. Mobilizers of WSCs of Kutaisi, Khoni, Poti, Senaki, Tskaltubo and Khurcha/Koki (Zugdidi municipality) are in close cooperation with the beneficiaries.
Topics of mobilization – informational meetings were – family, rights and duties of people, domestic conflicts and mediation, facts of violence in family, influence of violence on psycho-emotional condition of children.
During the meeting participants received information regarding the programs of local self-government and existing social packages.
