Meetings with the population, cooperation with local authorities and representatives of the media contribute to the identification of conflict situations and their solution at an early stage. The problem identified by Tskaltubo Women Initiative Group, which concerned the reinforcement of the high voltage column on the territory of cemetery, has already been resolved.

Members of the group actively continue to meet with the public to identify other conflict situations and resolve them.

Moderators of Women Initiative Groups of Kutaisi, Tskaltubo, Khurcha (Zugdidi Municipality) held meetings in different local communities to study conflict situations.

Initiative groups are actively working to solve specific social problems. Based on the action plan, meetings were held with representatives of different structures of local self-government. On the part of the authorities, there is support and readiness, to be actively involved in processes and contribute to the resolution of conflicts in communities at an early stage.

In August, the work of Women Initiative Groups was monitored in frames of the project "Early Warning of Conflict - Theory and Practice".

When summing up the results of Kutaisi Women Initiative Group, the first results were identified. The issue of sanitary disinfection of garbage cans, which created conflict situations in one of the most populated communities, has already been resolved. It became possible to resolve the conflict by including various structures of local self-government at an early stage.

The women's initiative group in Kutaisi works for early resolution of conflict. Members of the group have already drawn up an action plan. Data on problems are collected.
