Women and girls from the Tskaltubo IDP community are becoming more and more active in advocating for their problems. They practice the knowledge and experience, accumulated during the project and try to further improve the social environment of the community.
The initiative group aims to solve specific infrastructure problems. This time, the main focus is on the arrangement of a bus stop, a sports ground, and the renovation of a children's attraction.

Members of women's and youth groups of the villages Didinedzi and Koki - Zugdidi municipality join the international campaign 16 active Days against Violence. Within the framework of the international campaign, information meetings and workshops were held, with the discussion of the importance of raising women's awareness in terms of assisting victims of violence, the need to implement preventive measures, and access to state services. Many countries, including Georgia, are involved in the 16-day international campaign, which indicates that the issue is still relevant and the main mechanism for combating it is the unification of society against the problem.
Members of women's and youth groups from Kutaisi and Khoni actively joined the campaign of 16 Active Days against Gender-Based Violence. They expressed their attitude through various activities and once again unanimously said "No" to violence!
Initiative groups from Senaki and Tskaltubo were actively involved in the international campaign against violence. Within the framework of the 16-day campaign, the groups carried out various activities. The main topic of discussion during information meetings, workshops, and debates was violence against women and preventive mechanisms. Participants noted that it is necessary to provide the public with more information about the mechanisms that exist for victim assistance. It is necessary to increase public awareness and involvement in preventing the problem and assisting victims.
Women advocacy groups created in Tskaltubo, Zugdidi and Senaki supported a civil initiative for the advocacy of identified needs. In particular: in the IDP settlement of Senaki, there were no signs with numbers on the apartments, which often created problems (for example, when calling an ambulance). There were no benches for parents and children in the courtyard of the school in the village Koki (Zugdidi municipality). In Tskaltubo, in a new settlement of IDPs, women identified a following problem: the buildings do not have information boards on which the necessary information would be posted (for example, information about a hotline).
The implementation of these initiatives will ensure a safe and adapted environment for women
