Khoni Women Initiative Groups are involved in the research process. The first results will appear soon. At the next meetings, the group members discussed the techniques and deadlines for conducting focus groups and in-depth interviews, and identified the categories of respondents. The experience of the group members is a contributing factor to the successful completion of the task.

Participants learned about the legal and health risks associated with early marriage.

A presentation of the research held by the Fund in terms of monitoring of victim assistance services was held, which was followed by a discussion across the municipality in terms of violence identifying and victim assistance. The participants also received information about the work, carried out with the support of the Canada Equality Fund: a unique website "Digital Resource Center for Violence Victims’ Services" was created, information meetings and social events were held. Local government officials thanked the Fund “Sukhumi” for its assistance to women victims of violence in Vani Municipality and expressed their willingness to cooperate in implementing more sustainable and long-term programs / services for victims.

There are two Women Initiative Groups in Khoni municipality. Online meetings were held with them, where technical side of the survey, deadlines and identification of beneficiaries was held. Group members have similar experiences that will contribute to a successful survey.
An information meeting with the members of the youth group was also held online. They talked about the 16-day international campaign, the activities carried out within the campaign and the practices adopted.
In the beginning of December, members of the group were also trained in the topics of peace and confidence building. Despite the online format, the training was interactive - participants shared their experiences and learned a lot of news.

Members of Kutaisi Women Initiative Group actively participated in the online meeting. Before starting the research, they received consulted and identified the target beneficiaries. Specific performers were distributed and research deadlines were set. The survey includes 150 people.
A youth group meeting was also held online. The members of the group talked about the events initiated within the framework of the 16-day international campaign. They condemn violence and according to them, active information work helps to raise awareness.

Since December, women initiative groups were involved in the research process. The research aims to analyze the gender barriers in terms of women participation in socio-political and economic activities.
The members of Senaki Women Initiative Group received a technical task at the meeting: who should be the target beneficiaries, the number of respondents, the socio-demographic characteristics of the target groups was identified. Senaki Youth Club participants discussed early marriage and related legal issues. The invited lawyer provided competent information to the participants and answered their questions.

What barriers do the women face during socio-political and economic activities - these issues will be analyzed in research launched by the Fund "Sukhumi", the women initiative group of Tskaltubo was involved.
The participants passed the training, received consultations and are ready to ensure that the questionnaire process goes according to plan.

A youth space was established in Public School No 12 of Abkhazia (Zugdidi) and is already hosting informal meetings.
On December 15, young activists held a meeting with teenagers on the topic: Violence - Bullying. Participants actively participated in the discussion, discussed and made thematic posters.
Topics for future meetings were identified, activities were planned, including finding resources for material and technical equipment of the youth space.

There are 500 IDP and local families in Ingiri community (Zugdidi municipality) - including people with disabilities, women with many children, the elderly. They have to walk and carry hard luggage from the central highway to the settlement, about 500 meters away. So they ask to change the transport traffic.
As part of the advocacy campaign, a petition was prepared, 290 signatures were collected, and a series of meetings were held with the Head of Municipal Transport Service, the Vice Mayor. Representatives of the Association "Mercury" met with the Mayor and Vice Mayor of Zugdidi Municipality. They talked about the possibility and model of funding services for victims of domestic violence from local budget funds.
According to the Mayor of Zugdidi, after consultations with the relevant services, the details of the service will be agreed. Several interesting recommendations were discussed and the dialogue will continue.
The meeting was held with the aim to advocate the needs of victims of domestic violence - as part of the Women Peace Coalition Advocacy Campaign.
