Family life is the daily work of two people to achieve harmony in relationships. How to build a harmonious relationship in the family - psychological counseling meetings with women took place in the Women Support Centers of Kutaisi, Khoni, Tskaltubo, Poti, Senaki and Khurcha / Koki (Zugdidi Municipality).

Psychologist's advice:

Relations should be built on the following principles: To be able to listen to each other. Always try to talk about what happened to you for the day. Also ask the children. Do not quarrel over trifles. Do not take out all the problems on the show. Often hug each other. Make it a tradition to relax with the whole family on weekends and on vacation. This brings you even closer together and helps build a harmonious relationship.

A psychological group meeting took place in Khoni Women Support Center with the participation of 13 beneficiaries. The group was mixed - there were women and men. The meeting passed with metaphorical associative cards, which helped the beneficiaries to get a ready conclusion about the character, abilities and state of mind, allowed to touch taboo and difficult topics for discussion.

The fund ”Sukhumi” announced a small grant competition for the Womes Support Centers of Kutaisi, Khoni, Senaki, Poti and Khurcha / Koki (Zugdidi Municipality) with the main focus - the protection of women's and girls' rights.

Prior projects are those that take into account the work with local self-government, with IDPs, youth, on the prevention of violence.

On October 20, the Women's Support Centers presented their projects, which will be evaluated by the jury, certain adjustments will be made and implemented within the framework of the campaign "16 active days against violence against women".

Fund “Sukhumi” announced a small grant competition for the Women's Support Centers. The main direction is the protection of the rights of women and girls.

The centers presented 11 project ideas. 5 projects have been selected for financing:

Raising the level of civic education of teachers, educators and parents of pupils of kindergartens in Tskaltubo.

Work with pupils of Khoni municipality in terms of conflict resolution and bullying prevention.

Inclusion of representatives of Senaki Municipality communities in the process of resolving domestic conflicts.

Promotion of a healthy lifestyle among the youth of the Poti municipality.

Information on domestic violence and the appropriate response of women living in the villages of Zugdidi municipality.

Women Support Centers in Tskaltubo, Khoni, Senaki, Poti and Khurcha / Koki (Zugdidi Municipality) will start implementing projects starting in February.

“With knowledge against violence” is the title of a small project implemented by the Women Support Centre in Tskhaltubo.

Information meetings in administrative units of Tskhaltubo Municipality and with representatives of local self-government on raising the role of self-government in prevention of violence against women and assistance to victims were carried out within the framework of the project. Participants of the meetings got information on the work of Fund “Sukhumi”, and specifically on the activities of the Women Support Centre. They were also given leaflets.

The final training for local government representatives was conducted on the 5th of December in the Assembly Hall of the Mayor’s office of Tskhaltubo. Participants of the training elaborated recommendations and proposals, which were realized in different villages. A short video about the training was prepared and transmitted on air of the TV company “Rioni”.

The lawyer conducted informational meeting with residents of Kikodze Street, Ozurgeti. Main problem for them is water. As it was revealed the problem will be solved soon, as the pipes are ready and the population will have water soon.
Meeting participants also received legal consultations regarding civil, administrative, social and labor right.
It should be mentioned that some of the problems, raised on informational meeting, are solved by active participation of the lawyer: in the village Nasakirali - Ozurgeti municipality where the Meskhetians live, the roads were covered with gravel and lighting was installed on 26 May Street.

The lawyer of Ozurgeti GAC, conducted meeting in the village Kviriketi of Ozurgeti Municipality. Problem of population – roads, which were damaged during the process of gasification and which still needs solution.
There is also a problem of water supply. More than 80 % of residents have wells, but in hot summer they are drying. 
Two residents of the settlement were given legal consultations. The lawyer prepared court appeals regarding the spheres pf social and domestic law.

On June 10 in Kutaisi, on Kharebava street informational - consultative meeting was held of the lawyer with IDPs.
10 participants got acquainted with the various information related to the problems of legal regulation. They settled in this settlement 10 years ago, but it was mentioned that the building was damaged and not suitable for housing.
the ceiling on the last floor is damaged, and living under it becomes dangerous day by day. Residents also have the problem of drainage, cellar and roads.
The lawyer spoke with the IDPs about the programs on the basis of the local budget and how and to whom they may apply. The participants noted that they will make statement and will start advocacy issues.

Within the framework of the International campaign "16 active days against gender-based violence", the Poti Women's Support Center carried out a mini project "Harmonious Environment for babies". Information meetings with representatives of the association of preschool institutions and Sakrebulo were held. Two training sessions were held, in which teachers and heads of 15 kindergartens took part, as well as representatives of the kindergartens and City Hall.

The participants of the trainings discussed gender stereotypes and problems of violence, as well as the possibilities for their solution. Within the framework of the project, a "Communication board" was created in several kindergartens. With the help of the board. parents can anonymously fix their opinions and, if necessary, will respond to a particular problem.

Promotion of healthy life style among young people - this actual topic is being implemented by the small project of Poti Women Support Center. In frames of the project, activities are planned in two schools of the city - to promote a healthy lifestyle.

Informational meetings with the Mayor's counselor on gender issues and the Department for Youth Affairs have already taken place.
