Activities of women initiative groups in 16 day campaign

Kutaisi and Tskaltubo women initiative groups of the fund “Sukhumi” were actively involved in the 16 day campaign. On their initiative of the group members there were held informational meetings in IDP collective centers. The population heard information regarding the issues of violence, about campaign. They were given informational leaflets, white ribbons, calendars. The members of the women initiative group consider that similar activities have important meaning in the informing and prevention of violence against women.
