Training is one of the types of interactive learning. The category reflects the trainings conducted in frames of the projects, as well as participation of the Fund “Sukhumi” staff in the trainings of other organizations.

On July 8, a training was held with the disabled persons. They were given information regarding NGO, how many people can create it, what types of organizations exist, who can fund, how should be written the project.
They mentioned that this information was new for them and they were satisfied. 
  
On June 19-21 a training was held in Borjomi with participation of 23 representatives (15 men among them) of local self-government of Kutaisi, Khoni, Tskaltubo, Batumi, Poti, Ozurgeti, Senaki, Zugdidi. The topic of the meeting was chosen according of the maind directions of the fund “Sukhumi” in Western Georgia – “Preventive strategy of local self-government in fighting against domestic violence”.
Its schedule covered following issues: gender, gender violence, types of violence, Istanbul convention, law against domestic violence, action plan, legislative changes.
On a last day of training strategies in action plan in all cities were elaborated in direction of domestic violence prevention and victim protection.
8 cities of Western Georgia expressed readiness in fighting against violence, the victim of which is majority of women.

In frames of strategic plan of strengthening organizational potential, On May 15-16, for the mobilizers of the fund “Sukhumi” WSCs, a training was conducted in Batumi on: “Project design and Management”. The training was built on practical work, the aim of which was identification of own region and preparation of project proposals.
The participants familiarized with fundraising technologies, basic elements of the project, writing structure, usage of logical matrix.
With the help of group work the participants could identify the problem and creation of project goals, tasks and results. As a result of gained knowledge they will independently elaborate projects and will be able to find financial support.

-Hot, dynamic training with effective mix of theoretical and practical parts, - this was evaluation of the participants of the training, organized by the fund “Sukhumi
 in Batumi.
The first day was devoted to discussion of human security components. Especially interesting was analyzing of these issues in gender prism.
According to the project, training participants will conducte trainings on these issues in Kutaisi, Senaki, Poti, Khoni, Tskaltubo and Khurcha (Zugdidi municipality). The second day was devoted to the technics and methodology of the researches.

In the Hotel “Riverside” of Kutaisi, a training for the members of Kutaisi GAC was held on: “design and management of the projects”.
Informational part was followed by practical exercises. Participants worked in groups on creation of the projects.
-We studied techniques of project writing, defining of main tasks and goals was important, the training will help in elaboration of the projects – this was evaluation of the training from the side of participants.

"Design and Management of Project" - this was the theme of the training organized in Senaki for members of the Gender Advisory Council (GAC) and civil society activists.
Participants were acquainted with the general fundraising techniques, basic and important elements of structure and writing project approach using logic array.
During group work new project ideas of GAC members were originated. Participants tried to correctly formulate the goals, objectives and results of their projects. Their development of knowledge – is a guarantee that they will independently develop projects and find financial support not only locally, but also internationally.
