Workshops (86)

Workshop - is an educational activity (like seminars, courses), where the participants gain knowledge independently. Workshops are held on different topics with women and young people. Workshops are often conducted by the participants themselves.

The topic of work-shops with the youth was – personal conflicts and their negative influence on domestic conflicts.
The participants openly spoke, how to rule their emotions and what methods are used to stop the conflict.
The young people consider that views of generations change. The current generation is more fighting and does not like to back down. In some cases it is perceived as tragedy to say - I'm sorry ... Personal confrontation creates a good basis for the development of family conflicts.
According to participants, the problem is that young people do not have information about the conflict and cannot control their emotions.
Information obtained at the workshops will help them to explore themselves and to properly manage family conflicts.
Workshops were held in Koki, Khoni, Kutaisi with participation of 37 people.

Migration - actual topic for each generation.
What do young people think about this, what is the relationship of migration with domestic conflicts; the challenges faced by children growing up without mothers; where is the way out? - Workshops on these issues were held in Tskhaltubo, Kutaisi and Khoni.
According to participants, migration could solve the financial problems of families, but each has contributed to other problems.
The workshops analyzed real stories, and it was noted that fathers, grandmothers and grandfathers cannot substitute mothers. There are psychological barriers that cause conflicts in families.
According to the young people on the background of unemployment in the country, it is impossible to stop migration, but it is possible to regulate relations in the family - the emphasis was on a special mission of NGOs and the role of the psychologist in schools.

Workshops were not ended with a discussion of specific examples. Young people talked about the reasons that contribute to aggression among teenagers. They drew a parallel with family conflict. It was said that children from hard families often laugh at others, or vice versa - are victims of violence.
